Also- the most important- I hope we all can breath and relax and stay positive, happy and calm and send these vibes towards our fierce competitors. ;)

Yes, we remember his comments after SP. For the pressure and that incident, his mental condition right before SP wasn’t good. But he could skate imaging the background of music and cherishing the thoughts of his fans. He feels his fans:).

I have to emphasize that I am a real decent senior lady but as soon as you have mentioned his skin... I can say his hand is silky smooth... :o:
Yeah, do you know about his wax figure in Madame Tussauds, Tokyo? His hand print is exhibited there. I’ve been there last summer and was surprised to know he has the same hand size as mine(I’m 156 cm. My hands aren’t bigger considering my height.) His hands are small! Further, his palm is smaller than me and his fingers are longer than me (My fingers aren’t short!)! Oh, no! I felt miserable a bit (lol).
BTW, the video about making the figure is so lovely and is my favorite. If you have not yet seen it, please enjoy!:)

From Nobu’s blog, about yuzu SP
http://ameblo.jp/oda-nobunari/entry-12145505624.html?timestamp=1459487152

"It’s so wonderful he could express the music to that extent doing jumps with terribly difficult entry in the layout having high-difficulty.
Step was level 3. I think the reason is that in the end of the difficult turn, when he should skate with the edge of one leg longer , he put his another leg onto the ice earlier for the next movement.
However, when the tempo got faster, he did the steps using his whole body with increasing speed and proper contrast, GOE was full score. It was fabulous steps of the end of program."

:bmrk: It is enough already talking about this incident with Denis, and avoid bringing anymore media link that is not verified unless it is video clip of him speaking to the media.

This incident is now bigger that his brilliant SP in the news and in this forum.

I am so terribly worried on his condition and mental for the LP because of this incident been blown out of proportion by the news, and has started fan wars.

@skatefan22, please stop with all the digging so as not to inflame this incident further.

I agree that we should concentrate on FS. But my intent of sharing the link of what Yuzu himself actually said about incident is that we as fans might at least listen to what he says instead of turning a deaf ear. Besides, Yuzu talked about it openly during SP press conference. He has nothing to hide. Also, we can't call yahoo news invalid source...Multiple news outlets report what Yuzu says including sportiva: http://sportiva.shueisha.co.jp/clm/othersports/2016/04/01/post_619/index.php.

If you think that way, then this is video of one of the incidents: https://twitter.com/enmi_g/status/715828723916881922
There might be more to come. I don't know. I am trying to think positively for both side. I only want this to end and the mess is cleared up.

Thanks, Meoima, for the video. Looks like the media is gradually releasing their recordings. Yuzu wasn't attempting a 3A though in that video. So on March 30, they had more than one cross over...

Can't we just stop it now ? :rolleye:

Skatefan22, I don't understand why you bring back this story. The Sportiva article doesn't say anything new. It's old news. It's just a resume of the situation as an introduction to the free this evening.

Actually, both parties have not said anything since wednesday evening, and we are already friday...it's a closed incident now.

Really, everyone is so overreacting. :rolleye:
I bet Yuzu and Denis already forgot about the incident. They have more important things to concentrate on. The same applies to us.

The sportiva news has Yuzu's words in more details than the previous article and that is why I posted it since some are doubting the yahoo report.
A friend has sums up what Yuzu says in this article:“He (Denis) might be nervous, but I still feel that he is probably intentional. I checked the replay myself. He obviously saw me coming towards him before he started to enter his spin in a way which is not his usual routine. Yesterday too, while I was doing my step sequence, he forced himself into my way. Last year world championship, before SP, I was already fallen on the ice, he still skated towards me and threw a Quad just next to me.”

That's it. I believe some fans haven't read what Yuzu really says about the incident in his own words and this is the latest article published today so I opted to put it up.

:devil:I know I should'nt say this to start over this topic again, but I just couldn't help but to say just one thing which is I remember very well this incident last year. Because I was really shocked and scared.
But anyway this Sportiva article does as a whole is good and sounds realiable because off course the writer is well known FS writer and she quotes Yuzu's words but does not blame Denis either. She takes very neutral view. She understands very well both are very competitive athletes and they are tense before the important competition.

Having said that I will shut up, and no loger bring up this topic. Yuzu said he was emotionally very disturbed and he regrets himself for being dragged by sheer emotion. But he was extremely happy that he could pull out that performance despite of all the emotional disruption he went through. He has obviously moved on. No need to worry about him.

And thank everyone for the update yesterday, I was at work when Yuzu was skating. All I could do was to peak into my i-phone to check how he did on this thread and FB.

If I'm not mistaken, he doesn't say he still feels it was intentional. He just says that such a thought has occured to him after video replay, that he was maybe intentional. He doesn't know for sure; he just speculates, stating the pure facts.
I think we should't bring it here anymore. Small mistake by Yuzu and nothing serious. Problem's been solved.

Hey guys, maybe we could now stop posting more stuff about this and then end every post with "we shouldn't talk about this anymore." It's kind of counterproductive. I know the urge to add something to the discussion, and since last night I've stopped myself from posting anything more times than I care to count. But so many people have already asked to keep this out of the fan fest. If you want to keep arguing your case, please do it in the other thread. :) Thank you.

Sorry if the answer is somewhere in the thread but too many posts to read...was Brian the one with the "come on" at the start of step seq here ?

I didn't notice it was Brian during watching live. His heart is always with his students. So touching!
I love this scene watching yuzu with tender face after sp. http://livedoor.blogimg.jp/ikekuribo/imgs/b/b/bb17dc4f.jpg
I want to see their hug again and again.

No It's Yuzu and it souds like he said "Ikuzo" meaning come on or Let's go.(At least that is so far as I know what the most of the people are saying including the commentators who were on site)

Oh, thanks for the answer, I didn't notice it was him.
That's nice, reminds me of Romeo scream in 2012

Through all the media frenzy, Yuzu is still doing kind things for Javi, moving the queue fence so that he could have room to jog in the warm up, bowing and hugging David Wilson, cheering for Kovtun who skated next, bowing to Brian in the kiss and cry and being his usual self. I'm going to cheer for him with my family tomorrow morning. Go Yuzu!

Thanks for posting the video clip, Silvia, and for your answer, Nontama--understanding this better makes it even more wonderful! This pivotal moment followed by brilliant joyful skating, in the final performance of a program that he loves! It was fabulous to me.
