I totally agree with kelleigh.
How can one possibly consider that after one bad program, that Yuzuru needs to change his team ? I mean Brian raised him, he brought him to his best, they made history together. There's no way Hanyu should leave TCC. And to finish I'll just ask who are we to judge a professional team, just by the public facts.

About TCC, Yuzu and Javier, I can just say, it's becoming like the 4th year they have been working together, they have ups and downs and they got through these.

Javier improved a lot this season, but this is not the first day he's being a rival to Yuzu. He has always been one of the main rivals of Yuzu. He was also one of the strongest medal contenders for Sochi 2014, it's just he didn't do well that time. I know it's P Chan for Yuzu in the previous Oly cycle but Javier left his nobody-stage for a long time, he's been mentioning a couple of times as Yuzu's 'enemy' (according to a Japanese tv lmao). People used to wonder if the two young men will have problem to each other, but they don't within this 3 - 4 years.

Probably I will feel hard to train with my main rival too but idk Yuzu's thoughts. It's just me, but I do think it's too much to think/imagine the feeling for Yuzu or put my own self's feeling as his feeling. Feeling and relationship are extremely personal, it's hard to define.

I am not saying nothing should even be changed, but I'll wait and see. At this moment I don't see TCC is problematic that Yuzu should leave. And one of my concerns to leave TCC is that there is no better choices actually.

This is my opinion. Orser is not a good coach. Not suitable for Yuzu.

I'm not sure but I'd speculate Brian and him seem like a pretty good team. At least...well...I'm jealous of the success they've shared.

I'm glad you got your wish, I hope you also manage to watch Kevin one day ;)

Thanks. Considering that I freaked out when I saw Misha before I got my pic with him, and that I was slightly hyperventilating when Yuzuru was warming up, I might need oxygen on standby for when I see Kevin.

This:agree:
No matter what happened yesterday, everyone will remember this as his season and the worlds FS as the exception.

NHK and GPF were two magical moments in the history of figure skating.

Absolutely. And in honor of this memorable season, I will go tomorrow eat a Yuzu ice cream. Made by the best ice cream maker of my city, of course you need the best to celebrate the best.

Oh God I am so envious! How does it taste?

That's an idea. I'm going to a convention with a friend tomorrow and will eat in town, I'll remember to take a Yuzu ice cream... I don't think I'll find the correct term (since the biggest ice cream shops don't have much flavors when it's not summer), so I'll settle for citrus type.

I think, and that's only my imagination and thoughts about it...

Of coz I know that's an example. And when you recognized they are different people, so I suppose you understand how these 4 people are different in terms of their characters. And thus you should know how valid is it as an example. Relationship and feeling are nothing replicated. Don't even mention the 4 people here we are talking about are nothing alike in most of their personal attributes.

That's what I am saying. Imagination. Imo discussion should be base analysis with facts to support in most of the time. Especially some serious topics like the career development and his 'tactics' of an athlete. Everything will have a possibility, but I guess the application of imagination should have a limit when it comes to words for others to read.

But I absolutely welcome imaginations with love and fluff, just saying.

Let's agree to disagree.

I am sad about the result...I am sad to see Yuzu so sad and dissapointed. But I trust him and I know that he will be back stronger next season. I also believe that he was very tired after those insane performances where he broke his own WR...he needs some rest at the moment and hopefuly everything will be fine :)
Despite of what happened last night...everybody knows that Yuzu is the best skater in the world...it was just not his day. It's like Serena Williams in tennis...the whole world knows that she is the best even though she doesn't win all the tournments. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn...

From their body language over the year and the success they've had this year (apart from last night) I"d say things are ok at the rink. Things happen for a reason and if that reason is to make Yuzu tougher for when he goes to Korea in 2018, then we'll look back on this time and be thankful. It's just too early to tell.

For now I wish Yuzu a good rest. After the initial "debriefing" when he gets home, I hope he does no interviews, shoots, commercials etc.., so that he can just relax. I want him to be really happy away from the rink, so that when he gets back to the rink, he'll feel renewed and ready to go.

I think his english has improved over the last year too. I think he's motivated now because it'll only help him communicate better with others in the skating world ie. Plushenko, Weir, etc..as well as with his coach. He'll get there.

Now I understands his reactions when he finished his SP(That barking and his facial expression ). But looking at the first picture makes me think also, that everyone is doing this to others. The skater behind D10 is very close and jumping toward D. In anycase he should have let it go, because it just gets into your nerves and wastes your energy. I am sure he has learned a lesson this time. There is always someone annoys you, but you just have to let it go and mind your own business.
You cannot control others, but you can controll yourself.

it's not true. your feeling about the distance in that gif has been distorted because of the visual angle

I hope so too. I feel like the Japanese people, media, and skating federation are sometimes asking too much of him. I don't him any more exhausted than he has to be.

Actually when people start to compare coach situation in TCC to Mishin's case I kinda feel surprised. Plushenko and Yagudin have such a different kind of personalities than Javi and Yuzu, it's like comparing water to a dragon. Russians both had tough characters, they were rough and rude when pissed off, they both had a lot of temper. I remember reading some of their interviews- especially the one after Yagudin went to train under TAT- my Lord, that day I lost all the pink glasses I ever had about him. I can't link that interview cause it was life ago and was in a newspaper, no e-form available.
Javi and Yuzu are so much different. Like- SO much different. They are a completely different kind of planet or shall I say- another Universe.
:)
