Fancam of the moment after the medal ceremony we've seen on photos. Javier with his team /family (?) and David invite Yuzuru to take a photo together. Where is Brian? A familiar man welcomes Yuzu from the ice and comforts him.

I don't know some of them there (but I'm sure it's not his family because they were shown at the GPF), but two of them are a Spanish ice dance (?) team, other two are Spanish single skaters who train with Yuzu and Javier at TCC. The man holding Yuzu's guards is one of the TCC coaches, IIRC.

Hello people, is there room aboard for a new fan? :] I have to say I wasn't much into Hanyu's skating before, but this year's LP to Seimei really won me over. Probably the best men's LP I've seen in a couple of years, and great connection to the music. I wouldn't mind to see a variation of it as an exhibition in the future. That's all for now, cheers all. :)

Welcome! I hope his next programs are ones that he can connect to just as well!

welcome, of course there is room!!! :cheer: he said this year's programs are his favourite among he skated and i think we can see the connection he has with them, thats what makes them more special :luv17:

Provably, so. From his hair and physique! (you have good eyes!)

Certainly, a woman said “kawaii!” another woman shouted, “oh, my god!”

PS i filled your survey and will spread it to my yuzu fan or tweet!

So he said the starting order was the issue?he didn't like skating 2nd, same a Sochi, also he lost balance between his body and mental. He will find out how to deal with it in future...He doesn't have any idea about new LP , so Jazz will be as sp I assume? anyone please confirm it :)

I sometimes lost information, and don’t know exactly when he told about “jazz” (interview with sizuka?). Anyway, in this interview, he said he hasn’t had any new image of FP at this stage. If he brings Jazz, the possibility of SP is high.

Another thing which interested me is he continued that when he got Ballade two years before, he didn’t have a slightest idea how to execute this. But by skating SEIMEI, he got the experience of “feeling the music”and “expressing”. After that, he could make up the way he felt Ballade and the way he expressed it.
The following is my guess from his statement above. Until last year, SP and FP were not so linked. He adapted different tastes with each other mainly for the purpose of not boring judges and audiences, showing his variety, etc. However, he apparently realized that one program could affect the other in the rather effective way.
Then, he went on that he wants to think the direction out , whether “he will try to master the genre he is mostly good at” or “he will try to broaden (his expression) and show a new side of him”, next season.
Now, he doesn’t seem to simply think of challenging another field next season. He must contemplate taking more of the things into consideration.

Anyway, those feelings are from his firm success experience from Ballade. Although his mental was messy, he could achieve the almost perfect performance inside him. It means he could heigher the degree of perfection to such extent about ballade. It gave him huge confidence, I believe. From this success, he got another inspiration..

Welcome, welcome! Wonderful to see so many people finally understanding/appreciating him as a skater. That probably means just as much as a gold medal to him :)

Thank you, and others who welcomed me so nicely. ^_^ I knew for sure there was something special about both the skater and the program when I felt as awed and impressed by this Worlds' LP with mistakes as I was with the mistake-free ones from GP and GPF. :)

Good Morning fans in Europe :gclap:. Please join this survey and spread the words on it. Thank you.

Thanks alia for the survey! I think it would be great if the results could be sent to TCC or get to Yuzu in any way. The fan messages are really supportive and it would be awesome if they could get to him somehow!

This man who comforts Yuzu is Ghislain Briand, one of the TCC coaches.
Be welcome Surimi and get ready for big emotions with our dear yuzu.

I was thinking about Patrick's comments about the ice since it's a fact that the ice was melting by the end of the men's competition. Patrick, Yuzuru and Shoma have arguably the best skating skills of the whole pack, all of them struggled, Shoma struggling a bit less if you exclude the horrid fall, being the 3rd in skating skills. Javier the one with not the best skating skills happened to skate the skate of his life under these conditions and Boyang also didn't skate that bad at all. I think this was certainly a factor in the performance of those three since their blade work is more refined or am I allucinating. Patrick was the only one to call out the ice conditions and received flack for it, I think it was a legitimate concern because it of course affected the skaters but in terms of his PR a bad move. I'm not attribuing their performance to the ice conditions bringing attention to the possibilty of it being a factor, who knows. Also, Chan and Hanyu probably have the biggest mutual jinx ever.

I'm still heartbroken for Yuzuru, but that's life and specially sports, it was an opportunity of a lifetime. Still nothing will take what he's done for figure skating this season and hopefully even more in the future, Yuzuru is a gift for the sport and I hope that he will continue to bring it to levels that have never been seen both artistically and athletically. His EX was breathtaking and very emotional as so many have said and I'm grateful for that.
I think there's absolutely no need for a 4Loop at the moment but Yuzuru is Yuzuru so I'll take it. I think he should've worked with a sports psycologist since the Olympics because he apparently has problems handling big pressure when he's at the lead in Worlds/Olys. I'm happy that he seems to be adressing the issue now and adjusting his training. I hope for no more peaking at the GPF but that he will continue to grace us with extraordinary and memorable performances.
As I saw someone saying if the GPF performances have been done in the Olympics we would be talking about for 20, 30, 50 years! They are already legendary though but it would be even more!

Good luck for the next season Yuzuru and hopefully your new programs will be as memorable and special as Chopin and Seimei. :cheer2:
