According to a tweet from Phiten, Yuzu will come back to Japan in August to have a meeting.

Best news since Boston Worlds so far! Finally the isolation period is over, maybe the banning period from media too, Sendai (golden ) rule will start, some weight will be gained , melancholy will disappear together with Yuzu-Nemo cought by annoying teen skaters. Best soundtrack for this moment OOR Jibun Rock, turn the volume up to its maximum and GOOOOOO YUZUUUUUU!!!:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

About Yuzuru's skate shoes;

Tight from the ankle to arch of foot, and really loose at the toe part.
Hmm... What if that could cause his injury? I'm not a specialist but honestly his injury is the first time (I may have neglected this info about other skaters, so correct me if I am wrong those who knows for sure or is medically educated about this) I hear occur with the quad toe jump. 4T is usually related to hip problems, groin too. But his problem is different. I am curious about what could cause this.:think:

I do not think the boot could cause the injury. Mechanically, the movement of the 4T could possibily cause a Lisfranc injury but the skates are there to prevent it. His boots are shaped to his feet to keep the best confort and the best hold. I don't believe there could be a mistake, he surely would have noticed if the boot was too loose but the possibility is highly unlikely IMO.

Indeed, boots aren't related to this injury. He has said it before that it is due to jumping quad in 2nd half, so apparently it's a tad too hard on his foot since stamina decrease and jumps become harder to do. He has said it before that he was working on a way to avoid this problem in training, so that he can do it without risk of injury like this again.

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4mis6o_160730-krtr_sport Kiritoru TV was showing clips of Yuzu last night. No new footage, but it's always nice to see him on TV.
1. Yuzu's language skills,
2. Yuzu and Javi at Finlandia?
3. Sochi EX practice
4. International commentators on Yuzu's GPF performance

ETA : Here is a selective short summary of Yuzu’s part from the show.
Nice to see the interrelation between Yuzuru and Javi.

1. Yuzu's language skills
Yuzu's pronunciation in the few Spanish phrases that he has spoken at the last two GPFs was pretty good :yes: He even got the "ñ" sound right which can sometimes be a bit difficult for non-native speakers. And well, we've all seen how much his English has improved throughout the years :)

Senpai Yuzu...he is so sweet with kids :luv17:. Shared by Echo @YHIFG fb, source: weibo @NHK Gala practice.

Inspirational Yuzu in Japan summer school's English homework. Source.

Lovely photos: #1, #2, #3

He is sweet to the mascots too...Google translated the post as "Because it is early afternoon of peace Sunday, I keep looking in from behind the peaceful fairy us", Bing translated as "I keep looking at the back of the fairies, a peaceful peaceful Sunday afternoon because". Anyone can help to explain what "fairy" refer to?

judging from the pictures, I assume someone's looking at the behind of a merman fairy :biggrin:
No I'm not translating, I'm interpreting

My translation:
It's a peaceful Sunday early afternoon so I'll just stare at the back shots of these peaceful fairies.

Fairy = Yuzuru

A belated welcome back alia! I missed your posts.

I noticed that too! It's definitely not an easy sound so I was surprised.
