AC is a possibility, but no official confirmation (I think deadline for entries is 26 Aug, so jsf should update their entries for AC around that time).
Aug 20 (and 12 too, I think) are just rumors based on Sendai rink being closed to the public on that date, nothing more.

And yes, AC is at the end of sept, so if he's doing it, I guess he will be back in Canada in the first weeks of sept, but that's pure speculation.

I hope we will get a sneak-peek for his program even if he eventually decided not to return to Japan, like at least the music choice. All we have so far about his programs is that his SP will give the same vibe to "hello I love you" and nothing else.

Someone mentioned change! I forgot how I like this program, especially the first 1 minute of it. What is the name of the instrument used? Is it a traditional Japanese instrument? If he do a program (SP or LP) only with the accompaniment of that instrument like he did there I would give him 10 out of 10 for originality

I don't know if it will ever happen, but I do think he's probably capable of it. He has such an easy triple Axel. The second clip (from last year's Skate Canada) shows his best Axel of the season. You can see (especially in slow-mo) that he's already coming out of the rotation half a turn before landing. Incredible.
