Another thing I realised was that the whole lot of TCC skaters were on that ice...josie (spelling?), javi, cha, daleman, the spanish pair etc. . With the cameramen at all corners and ANA press area set-up on 2nd floor. With him coming back from injury, showing off his SP and LP for first time. Amazing that he was able to handle it in stride.

Any idea who this guy is? Is he the jump specialist in TCC?

I have to say watching those mashup clips... that i think both the choreography and Yuzuru himself (expressions and moves) are a bit wooden for this music.

Obviously I am waiting for the real thing because it is really difficult to judge from fragments with the music added on top as well etc. but idk, in PW or Hello I love you, his way of moving were really watery and sensual. Very bold and "rockstar" to go with the music. Here I feel all is very restrained. Then obviously it is not the same tech content (!) and it's the 1st time skating the program yadi yada. But idk, I am confused by this choreography.

It was just skating for the press, not seriously like in a competition

I think he is coaching other skaters at TCC, If I'm not wrong I saw him with Sonia Lafuente at Worlds.

Maybe his face looks a bit stiff, but I understand. First official run-through since April, and upped tech contents, new style. I think it could have been good, if he could try his sp at summer shows for adjustment like seimei. But there will be first competition within 2weeks. I think SCAC is real season start for him. Not only 4loop, but also sense of competition.
I don't expect so clean performance or recordbreaking during this season. Just upon season goes on, he will be better and better. This season is unlike last year..injury ,two new programs and 4loop. Too many concerneing things and at same times, he will have to be sassy and lyrical. Good luck,yuzu. I wish he will find a key himself.

Well, he nailed cleanly this fp run trough with 4 quads easily, last season at this time of season he was struggling to be able to land 3 quads fp, so it looks promising . I don't expect clean programs at autumn classic, or skate canada, but if he will get on with shape at nhk like last year it's possible

yes, his OP looks overall good in comparison with last year. Especially 4s maybe best ever?haha. I worry a bit for lack of experience in front of audience and too many elements. But as he said, when it comes to uping tech and challenge, this season is definetly that moment. And personally I feel more comfortable with his lp. Maybe because it feels similar with Requiem of heaven and earth that I love most.

Yuzuru's interview was so great. It is always impressive to me that he talks very logical with the most appropriate words. Very polite way of talking, but his words sound very strong in a meaning and straightforward.

But, costume talks seem to have already started as well

I think it is very, very early to make conclusions really. Once I made it as well years ago when he introduced PW. I have to confess I thought it was the the most horrible thing he could ever do. He looked shy and terribly sloppy, I loved etude, WL and RJ so I thought he would never grow on this music. But he proved me wrong, it became iconic program. I think this program has a lot more potential than PW, and I am not a Prince music fan AT ALL. Also don't forget that his SP was choreographed later than LP so I am not surprised he feels more comfortable with LP for now. If I am not mistaken Jeff and Yuzu finished it at the very end of july. It was media day with 15 Japanese channel attending and he had to come back after injury, showing his layout and skate as clean as possible. The program has crazy transitions and is build on tons of small details. I'd wait till NHK/GPF to see close to full potential of this program and don't trust the simulation made with 20 different pieces from different footages. If you trust me , It has all chances to smash PW but we shall see

I love a simple white shirt with V-neck, but using very decorative garment (with some bling-bling maybe ) for FS, like the one for "Ienaiyo"

I think you're simply replacing your own perception of his music with Yuzu's own perception of his music. He never said he could not relate to his R&J 2 music or even NDP (he didn't choose it himself though). If it's hard for you to relate to new SP music it doesn't mean that's hard for him.

If I got my facts straight, he didn't choose Parisian Walkways or Chopin either and he seemed to connect to them perfectly well. When it comes to R&J 2, I've always thought that he really did connect to the music (as Tara Lipinski said at the disastrous Olympic performance, he was selling that program].
