Ordering anything from Japan always gives me a headache :palmf: I usually end up spending almost as much on shipping as I do on the products themselves.
We have similar limits in Germany. Anything between 22€ and 150€ means you have to pay import taxes, anything above 150€ and you pay customs. I only sometimes get around paying anything. The import tax rate is reduced for books and magazines (only 7% instead of 19%), and if the total amount is less than 5€, then they don't bother to collect it. Still :drama: always a headache.

Ow, i only have to worry about the shipping charges. I've ordered books, figures, cds, magazines from japan and even computer parts from usa and i never had to worry about import taxes. Only once one of my packages was opened at customs and still i didn't have to pay any import taxes, and believe me, i buy A LOT from Japan.
i am still debating between the season calendar and the 2017 one. Having Yuzu on my desk while i work would be a very good mood lifter. help me i am a victim of his cuteness
 
(actually the whole shipping and tax drama helps a little to keep me from ordering stuff like a maniac, because I always do the math to figure out how much extra I'll have to pay once the package actually arrives here. It helps in theory, that is, in reality I hate it because I like pretty stuff :sad21:)

I have a literal pile of "pretty" stuff in my room, in a corner. Adding a bit of Yuzu wouldn't be so bad, the problem is that i have to act like a responsible adult and refrain from buying every thing i want.
My consciousness keeps telling me that i need physical proof of the existence of Yuzuru Hanyu outside the internet, though...
 
:roll9: I have a literal box of Yuzu related stuff, and it very literally would explode if I tried to put that lid on it. I also have a note from the doctor saying that I need these things to maintain my mental health and prevent emotional disturbance :yes:
(maybe I should check if my health insurance could pay for it....)

I forgot to ask, how to you know that Roman Sadovsky is watching YOI? :think: About Yulia I know of her VK and instagram shenanigans since I follow her :laugh: But I can't find any post from Roman.

Evgenia Medvedeva, Michael Christian Martinez and now Plushenko are also watching.

This Plushenko account may not be managed by him though, idk. Just mentioning it.

Seeing Yuzuru with Misha and Max on the podium, I guess you all would agree, Yuzuru should revise his height in his personal data.

Misha is said to be 175cm and Max is 173cm in their data. No way Yuzuru is still 171cm :noshake:

Well, it may be very Yuzuru as not minding such a trivial thing. But fans are those who want to know such a trivial thing, you know :biggrin:

I noticed the height thing too, lol. Misha could still be taller, but he's definitely taller than Max. And, we're fans... we always worry about the trivial things!!:laugh:

Yes I know I can count on selfie king Misha!

Anyway I noticed about the height too! Maybe on skating boots it is trickier to tell because perhaps there are inserts/different height in heels/whatever it is. However I noticed he is generally taller than Javi even without skates on and in Javier's ISU bio he is listed as 173 cm. So Yuzuru should be 174-175 cm now? :think:

edited to add: and on a completely different note, I just discovered that I have, in fact, two piano versions of Asian Dream Song. I always suspected I had more than one version, it nagged at me, I just couldn't find it. It was hiding in a Joe Hisaishi piano collections album. I'm thrilled, because it's very different from the one I've been playing, and includes a part of the song that was missing from the other version but is included in Yuzuru's cut (yay!). Unfortunately, it's also much easier, so I probably won't play it too often, but still. :agree:

The cost of the calendars was fine, but when CDJapan tried to upgrade the shipping it made the shipping total equivalent to the cost of BOTH calendars combined to the US 😫!

I initially had it on preorder with Amazon Japan and had cancelled it when I saw it cheaper elsewhere, but it was for the other version of the desk and wall calendar (the other set I like more). I wish I had kept my pre-order as the price was cheaper then, Maybe I'll just get the desk one, that one is my favorite and seems so elegant and classy in design.
 
I couldn't believe plushy was watching Yuri on ice and I'm right, it is a news account the one that retweeted that :D and i didn't expect less of Medvedeva ha ha ha. (The animation is amazing💖💖💖 )
