and how amazing that performance with still so much points on the table!! i couldnt watch it before checking twitter to see if he skated clean (life of a FS fan!) theb enjoyed the performance good luck for tomorrow!! :hap57:
I wanted to say this before, this is only guessing on my part, but regarding the absence of Kikuchi-san this season, I think when they first met didn't Yuzuru invite Kikuchi-san to go on the journey with him towards Olympics? He said he needed Kikuchi-san to be part of this team to chase after his dream of becoming the Olympic Champion so he recruited/invited him. So I think after the last Olympics, in a way, it's the perfect ending for their business partnership.
Just speculating on my part; it seems like his presence was really missed and widely discussed among fans, international and in Japan.

The LP is a different animal. It ain't over till it's over. But yes, I'm so happy about this SP. We can celebrate that it was done so well!

He mentioned it's Plushenko's birthday today in the Japanese interview right after the SP!

He also implied that he saw the result of other competitions and how the judges scored the performances, and he thought there was still some inconsistency among them. I'm late but congrats Yuzuru for your 1st place in SP! I hope he is going to have good performance tomorrow
