Maybe Yuzu is avoiding or postponing Media Day in TCC as late as possible on purpose so that other skaters don't feel distracted by the horde of Japanese Media that will arrive to TCC, and film other skater's programs by accident. Or maybe because he is still sensitive or worries that they might film him and Zhenya skating together and start that trash bulls**t tabloid mess again. Or maybe he feels uncomfortable exposing himself with all those other new skaters at TCC. Who knows? whatever the reason is, the Media Day this year seems to be postponed much much later than usual.

I don't know, didn't someone say it wasn't till September one year? Maybe he really doesn't realise how eager everyone is... after all, he isn't the only one who hasn't said yet... is he? (Javi doesn't count, he isn't in the GPF and early competitions

So- either late August or early September. Or maybe he'll keep it mum until ACI, who knows...

Yes, post Boston, when he was injured so badly but his rehabilitation has gone quite well this time around, knock on wood.

I think handsome is the correct way to describe him in general and in this photobook in particular. Every photographer has his own way to look at his subject so maybe it's due to photographer but in these photos he is super handsome :agree: I wish we could upload photos in our posts so I could share my favourite ones here.

And has someone read the interview on Kikuchisan about yuzu? Are there translations available?
For those who have been to Madame Tussaud’s in Tokyo, are you really allowed to touch the figures? I’ve been to the one in San Francisco and all of them are behind a set and don’t allow you to touch them, so I thought all these photos of people posing with and touching the costume were photos people took in secret.

I've read Kikuchisan's article at the convenience store, it was tabloid but they actually talked with him so it was trustworthy I think. There were 6 pages if I remember correctly, and Kikuchi told them about the history with Yuzuru. Kikuchi saw Yuzuru for the first time when Yuzuru was on the third grade of elementary school, Yuzuru's father came carrying his son piggyback because he sprained his ankle in the practice (I imagined it in my head and thought he must have been cute on his dad's back...). And new information for me was that Yuzuru prefer powdered ice to cube(block) ice when he does icing treatment on his feet, so Kikuchi even collected the ice after zamboni in PC Olympics. Also Yuzuru sometimes doesn't reply to him on LINE quickly, like he becomes silent for a month, but Kikuchi is totally fine with it. (in my opinion, that is the proof of the trust in their relationship, I admit I also became like that to someone very close
