Wow... After years and years of mostly hanging around Japanese manga fandoms, it feels so strange to be so fond of a real person. Yuzu is really something special. No one could even make up someone like him. (Now I have to relearn how to fangirl in English. Even though Japanese is my second language, it's my native language of fangirling. :laugh:)

I noticed that lots of Western fans use Japanese words anyway like kuyashii. We all use Japanese sometimes when fangirling Yuzu lol. Yonkaiten is also another one that pops up often.

Yeah, I noticed that word floating around here a lot and was thinking, "Well, there goes the giant pain in the neck that is trying to translate that word! Yay!"

I wasn't keen on them at first, but there is no doubt that they make his legs seem to go on forever and ever, even the matching white ones don't make them seem as loooooong... I doubt many other male skaters could wear anything as perfectly outre (and never mind the new rule that men can wear tights, Yuzu's made that redundant!) and look at good.

If he does bring LGC back (I'm hoping not, because I want two new ones, pretty please) he needs to complete the set by going real, deep purple.
 
Seeing new Jason's look (he looks very good!), I remembered one thing that I forgot to mention in my report of Yomiuri exhibition.

There was a very nice photo of him in white T shirt, looking at the camera with shining eyes. And I thought "oh, this was from media day of last year?", but it said in the below of the picture that it was taken in 2012 :shocked:

I realized again, he doesn't age :slink: :laugh:

I can use it to practice reading Japanese faster, too, wow. I'm definitely going to have to go through it a few times to catch everything.

I’m jealous of all the other fans get to know their skaters programs and see them through IG or twitter or Weibo, etc.

We chose our ninja, we have to put up with our ninja's quirks... and after all, we did get way more to enjoy during the off-season than most of them, what with parades, awards, ice shows....
