Quality over quantity, I guess... I believe he does more off ice training than many skaters do (don't hold me to it, I'm blithely ignorant for the most part), and we can all agree the results have spoken for themselves...

This is ridiculous. Part of me is NOT READY for this, and the rest canNOT WAIT for it.

Very probably he stays with individual sessions on ice and intensive off-ice training right now. What's wise. Stephan Lambiel told once that he didn't train spins on ice very much as it overburdened his body and the same result could be achieved through off-ice muscle trainings.

Healthy and successful season for Yuzu!
Many wonderful moments for him - and for us :)
 
In addition to not overexerting himself and aiming for quality over quality. I am convinced he has found the optimum balance between on-off ice training and discovered the best practice approach for himself during the time he was injured last season. :thumbsup:
 
Oh dear, tomorrow is the men's short? Does anyone know approximately what time Yuzu will be on? I couldn't find the order.

...I think I'm going to have to sneak out of a meeting and watch it in the stairwell...

The SP order isn’t out yet, I believe the draw is after the practice today. The whole Men’s SP starts around 13:13.

If you meant the practice, then that’s at 14:35 today.

Okay, thanks! I meant the SP, which I thought was today and really hope I don't end up missing because of work...
 
Great news! A stuff at ACI wrote in her blog they are now doing their best to try to live stream today's mens practice. So stay tuned!
 
I haven't been in this thread FOREVER~
I've been devoting most of my available time supporting the up and coming Japanese Senior and Junior Men since honestly, they need it more.

However, Yuzuru will always be my first and foremost, all time favorite.

Good Luck to him with his ACI performances! I'm so excited to see his new programs (and costumes!) in competition!
