Combo in the second half for the SP...can someone please kindly reassure me it's a worthwhile risk even though if you can't tag on that 2nd jump then you have no combo then the jump doesn't count...right? Has it always been this way?

That's normal for Yuzuru. He did 2 jumps in the 2nd half for 2018 Oly. 4T+3T and 3A. For max pts.

With the new rules, only 1 backloaded jump gets the 10% bonus in SP. So the men who used to do 2 jumps in 2nd half now do 1. Note that the jumps are the same with OG, 4S, 4T+3T, 3A

I thank Brian for the 4A update but at the same time it also kind of ruin the suspense (which is part of the fun) But well, to me, the way it’s written in the article - “not here”- did heighten the suspense for the next competition

News show today talked to Mura about the possibility of a 4A from Yuzu.
"You have to know, going into the competition that the 4A is high-risk, high-reward."
When asked about Yuzu's condition regarding the training footage: "I saw some footage of the quads here and there, and he's moving really well. I think we can look forward to it."
They look at details about the quad axel. This is a general news show, so things need to be explained for the non-fan. About rule changes, with emphasis on quality over difficulty.
Mura commented that with the new rules, the 4A was very risky and that to jump it there needs to be lots of training, from which injuries could result.
"Quad axel is almost a quint in terms of rotation, and air-time, it feels like a long time in the air. Like you have to hold your body in position for a long time in the air"
Mura talks about the jump competitions they did during shows, they couldn't rotate it, but it was 'in a good place' at the time.

They talk about the GOES for a successful jump vs a unsuccessful jump.

"(if unsuccessful) There's the chance it might be better not to try it but there's also the personal desire to do it. He's shown his will to want to be the first one to do this, I think this will (to jump the 4A) is quite strong."

Hanyu's comment was shown that he wanted to jump the 4A in the second half, but, it means nothing if I can't win.

Mura thinks that being number 1 is important to Hanyu but that he also wants to win with a overwhelming content as well.

Mura also talks about the difficulty of 4 minute programs, and supportive thoughts towards Dai's return and how it is to skate with Mao on her tour.

At the end of the clip, they show the music boxes and other Yuzu-related merchandise. Lol, it's like an advertisement for Yuzuru Hanyu loot!
