Just replace 4lo with 3lz and nothing else needs to be changed

He and Brian know best what can and may need to be changed.

It's just that we were all on such a high from yesterday... and any serious fall is now a big big scare for us. But they all fall all the time... it's part of the job.

and here i thought i could finally watch him in more relaxed mode after his SP yesterday but i guess life of a FS fan is never easy :slink: i hope he isnt too hard on himelf and can stay calm cause he probably is angry at himself

regarding SP, i loved the program since beginning (not so much the music as some posters said) but this time around it was even mor magical!! no wonder he was happy with this performance, idk what it is but something made this one special for me, he didnt miss the details this time (or maybe he did, and if he did cant imagine how gorgeous this program can be!!), everything was with the music, i am a little upset that he changed the entry into 3A since its my favourite ever but program is just gorgeous i can forgive him for it

Ganbatte Yuzu!! :cheer:

Thank you for this, I needed to read something like it.

By this time he is resting and I am gonna  for the best for him.
He is 21 pts ahead so toning things to safe level is not an issue.
Go Yuzu and coaching team.

Good grief this is not what I wanted to wake up to read this morning :(
Take care Yuzu

It sounds like it looked worse than it was, and everyone flashed back to last year which made it worse than it looked.

At least, I am wishing and hoping so.

He has a huge cushion....

Apparently he was seen running for the bus.... it was actually filmed and tweeted.

For just once, I'm glad people are there watching for him.

But I don't think I can watch the competition live. I mean, I'm someone who peeks at the last page of a book to make sure certain characters are still alive (even murder mysteries!!) and the suspense last night was hard enough on my adrenaline-hating nerves.

I think I'll hide out in a corner of the internet with some old BBC comedies and a heart full of wishes for Yuzu to do well and be healthy.

Yuzu leaving the arena NHK TV video clip https://twitter.com/NEROrigin4Ayuzu/status/1063703123959537664
The article itself has no new news.
I believe he’ll be fine. We all are right to be worried, considering NHK17, but looks: He iced his foot (something he does all the time, even when he doesn’t fall), walks and then jogs to the bus. Remember how he said before this competition that he wanted to avoid a repeat of last year incident? This is what he’s doing. He decided to cut training short and rest his ankle so that he’ll be fine. This is a wise decision.

I think he will not attempt 4A today. Better to be safe.
He said a few weeks ago that if he does 4A, it won’t be before the second half of the season. He decided to stop training it for now so that he could focus on winning competitions (considering the difficulty of this jump, he won’t attempt it until he’s sure he can do it with no UR, downgrade and such).
However Artur did plan on trying it for this competition FS, but I don’t know if he’ll stick to the plan... I doubt it, tbh (tho it should be discuss in his thread lol)

Yeah, and I guess he is still going to attempt 4lo in FS today anyway
Well people in the arena said that after his fall, he looks like he was mapping/image training before leaving the ice. Maybe he’s actually reconsidering his layout, and will replace with a 4S this time instead? Of course, we’ll know soon enough.

This was actually my impression too, being more cautious and thoughtful than careless in bravery. It might been a reconsideration of layout. I do feel he is in another place right now accidents-wise because he entered a new chapter after Olympics - he has goals and challeges set by himself ahead and he is very meticulous about them. It is no longer like a race, but became more of a journey I feel.

Yes. He realized his dream: to become a 2-time Olympic champion. And he’s still doing competitions simply because he enjoys it (and we’re lucky to still have him active). Remember how TAT reported from Brian that Yuzu has changed? More happy and social than before? Of course, he’s still aiming to win (he’s Yuzu after all ), but he’s changing and for the best.
