Hmm.. I'm sure Yuzu will consult doctors and JSF. There is zero impact on his career if he WD. He has 4 GPF Gold Medals and 2 OGMs.. 1 more GPF Gold would be nice, but it's not that important. His health is more important. I hope his ankle condition isn't too bad though.
Frankly I would be happy with a silver or bronze even if he does participate.

As most Russian coaches, Eteri has always been highly appreciative of Yuzu's skating. She once got asked if there was any particular skater she would want to work with and she immediately said it was Yuzu. :yes:
