I notice also how many people, both fans and outside observers from sport, the arts etc mention the beauty of his jumps as well as how amazing they are, and I think this is one of the things that what sets his apart from the efficiency of other skaters.

And here' you can see and hear Yuzuru himself expressing how he really wanted to show Re_Pray in his hometown and how happy and lucky he feels to receive so much support from fans from all over the world! He truly looks happy and relaxed, that's great! You can say it was a great joy and pleasure for him to perform in Miyagi, and to such a success, no less!

Meanwhile, his fans are indeed enjoying Sendai. (I think that his fans come in all seasons, but of course gather in much greater numbers when there's a big Yuzuru Hanyu envent.) Today was the first day of the first month of the Gucci sales incentive, one can get a 1:18 minute message from him in all Gucci stores in Japan about the story of the GG logo, until 24th (there will be another message next month, then a third in June).

Usually, fans of Yuzuru Hanyu visit the Nanakita Park in Izumi ward because of all its links to Yuzuru Hanyu (that was where he used to play as a teen between school and practice, there's that bench with a cat where he once sat, now there's his cherry tree that's just reaching full bloom, and of course it's so near his former Primary School and Junior High School and Ice Rink Sendai).
The more central Aobayama park, with it's iconic Date Masamune statue and the ruins of his castle, is a more usual visit for other visitors to Sendai, and last year they opened a new visitor center.
They didn't want to miss the opportunity of attracting so many fans of Yuzuru Hanyu (the tourism ambassador of Sendai, after all) and are showing a message from him; it's working:

Not only were there Kikuo Makabe (producer of Fantasy on Ice, Dreams on Ice and Medallists on Ice, who participates in Yuzuru Hanyu's solo shows), and Akira Kikuchi (his physical preparator who retired in 2019 I think) in the assistance; there was also Nakanishi Masaki, the "boss" of Amuse talent agency, who represent MIKIKO among others, and who was extremely impressed by RE_PRAY:
