Yuzuru Hanyu

Came on my feed. On the eve of the latest AnAn Yuzu cover, enjoy this English subtitled BTS from the times when Yuzu was the first figure skater ever to grace any AnAn cover. Such a cuteee :)
BTW AnAn is one of the best selling women magazines in Japan.

The expected News Every with Yuzuru Hanyu has been announced! It's on June 30th! It will focus on Noto Island, as his being spotted there might have suggested.
I'm sure that he's all the more moved by their 2024 plights (an earthquake in the Noto Peninsula on January 1st, followed by a fire in Capital Wajima the next day) and torrential rains on the whole region in September, that one of the Junior High schoolers he had had a "high five" with during his June visit, died from the September floods.

Here's the announcement on Instagram:

Next Weekend, the Aqua Expericence Tour, with exhibition of Yuzuru Hanyu's costume for their commercial, will have its last stop in Osaka:

A strong earthquake hit the sea near Tohoku today. Fortunately, there's no Tsunami alert, and unlike in Venezuela, no casualty is reported, "only" four people injured. In this article, a map showing the Japanese scale of felt intensity (instead of Richter scale of magnitude) shows that it was very strong in the Southeastern part of the Aomori Prefecture, strong in the Northern part of the Iwate Prefecture, and more "normal" in a Japanese meaning, elsewhere:

Memories, sweet memories!
Yuzu switching sides to act as a photographer and Rika, Mai and Kaori (?) playing as his models :)

He has such a quick eye, I'm sure that he would have done a great Photographer; that's probably also why he's a great model too (in addition to his looks and his mirror training, and now, understanding "how clothes want to be worn").

I understand that Haier inserted a commercial interview of Yuzuru Hanyu in Kiss & Cry The Stage 5?

HMV reminds us that there are several photos and there's an interview inside...
I wouldn't be surprised if the sales of this TV guide weren't as high as expected for something with a Yuzuru Hanyu content, because the publishers kept adding and suppressing Yuzuru Hanyu's photo on the cover, which isn't a fan-friendly attitude. Yet these photos do inspire fanartists for instance.

The rice in the art field keeps growing:

There will be shuttle 24-seat minibuses from the nearest railway station!

Singer Taisei Miyakawa has posted about the memories he has of his collaboration with Yuzuru Hanyu at 2022 Fantasy on Ice, of his relenting feelings:

There's an interesting "exchange" between NHK and Tokyo Sports, to remind us that, well actually it must be ending now, Reporter Takashi Nakanishi had a lecture about reporting on Yuzuru Hanyu, and particularly, the meaning of the gerbera he's holding on the photo:

Here's the article:

Hino Hyakuso has posted the second part of his article on Ikue:

The doubled/subtitled version of the NTV report on Towa 2026 Notte Stellata, particularly the collaboration between Yuzuru Hanyu and the Tohoku Youth Orchestra, is online:

I like the interview of these two Violinists in the older tier of the Orchestra, who remember the Earthquake; while the younger tier wasn't born yet, and the intermediate, too young to remember.

That's a lovely segment! I shall save it for rewatching.

In fanart, I'm still not catching up, and Kaku (and all Realive) is still very much there, although, given the huge number of fanart work posted every day, I don't post it every time:

Many fanartists also imagine how could be the different programs of his next show, based on colours already told:

Of course Ikue is still a trend:

Singer Keishi Yonezu's song for NHK's Football World Cup covering, prompted some memories from Bow & Arrow, but even before that it was a trend:

It's an old post, I don't know how it came this mid-June but I still post it because it's an animation and I don't think I had posted it there, and Gate of Living hasn't lost a bit of its interest:

I haven't posted onigiri fanart in a while either?

As usual after a Menship Radio, Moppy Sound posted the background music used for the chat:

It seems that there were also other background musics, particularly from Bump of Chicken, a band Yuzuru Hanyu had already said he liked?
