The 2020 Budapest Trophy is one of a series of events of the 2020-21 Figure Skating Challenger Series. The Challenger Series was established by the International Skating Union (ISU) during the 2014–15 season and the events consist of a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The series allows skaters to gain World Standing Points and is also a chance for officials to officiate at an international level, however, no World standing or ranking points will be awarded during the 2020-21 season due to COVID. The Santa Claus Cup is an international figure skating competition for Advanced,  Intermediate, and Basic novice skaters and younger (chicks and cubs), as well as Juniors and Seniors. Results

The 2021 Santa Claus Cup will take place Dec 6-10, 2021, in Budapest, Hungary, at the Budapest Practice Rink. It is an international figure skating competition for the Novice, Junior, and Senior levels in the Singles (Women and Men) and Ice Dance disciplines. The 2022 Jégvirág Cup will take place Feb 11-13, 2022, in Miskolc, Hungary, at the Miskolc Ice Hall. The event will feature the Singles disciplines (Women and Men) and Ice Dance disciplines in the Novice, Junior and Senior categories and will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2021, the Special Regulations & Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating and Ice Dance 2021, and the relevant ISU Communications. The 2022 Budapest Trophy is the sixth in a series of 10 events of the 2022-23 Figure Skating Challenger Series and is scheduled to take place in Budapest, Hungary, October 13-16, 2022, at the Vasas Jégcentrum. This international event will feature the singles discipline (Women and Men) and Pair skating in the Novice, Junior and Senior categories. The 2025 World Junior Figure Skating Championships will take place in February 25 - March 2, 2025, in Debrecen, Hungary at the Főnix Aréna. "Junior Worlds" is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union. ISU Member nations select their entries according to their own criteria.
