Some nice debuts tonight :)
Shame that Caroline didn't skate her best, same goes to Ashley.
I was really impressed by Agnes and Vanessa.
The scene is wide open for the long! Will be an exciting competition... :D

Alissa beat Rachael is TES but not on PCS! That is unexpected!

My analysis is that Alissa's perfect spins were enough to give her the edge on TES and Rachael's glorious soaring skating and the end fo the night gave her advantage on PCS. Like I said, Alissa was pretty reserved with her performance tonight.

Here are the quick result:

1. Mirai Nagasu, Pasadena FSC 63.35
2. Alissa Czisny, Detroit SC 62.50

Both Alissa and Rachael got 2 level 4 spins.
Alissa got a level 3 on her layback, and Rachael got a level 1 on hers.

Caroline Zhang
I know she fell on 3F, but the entrance was fixed
Actually, the entrance had a different problem than hammer toe. She turned the three on a very deep edge and picked way inside the circle with her upper body already rotating. I'd *almost* rather see hammer toe.
