I usually really enjoy Rebecca G. and Fillipo's skating ... but today I was so distracted by the tan line on her lower back I could hardly appreciate them. Still, I loved their energy and commitment. Was it a tan line?

Well done Team Georgia. I liked that skate, really committed. Loved the Chore sequence. It built to a nice end.

Although I did immediately think of S/H once the music started.

What a way to end the competition, everyone loved it. Great audience reaction. I loved it, you can’t but enjoy it. Such fun.

Well done on a big score and their first international victory.

Technical Specialist today was the Technical Specialist also in France GP 2019.
No wonder the judging look like a hack job. I'm surprise the Russian Fed even allowed their skaters to perform when they saw this loser was behind the tech panel. There are bias tech but this one takes the top prize. I think the Russians will let this incident pass unlike the previous one. This is just a B competition after all. Hopefully these sad individuals stay in the second rate competitions where they belong.

Even without a clean quad today, Anna should clearly be the frontrunner in pcs in the Russian ladies field. Her SS may be below Kamila but she more than makes up for it with her performance and interpretation which Kamila doesnt really have.
I know we shouldnt really compare pcs across competition but Anna performance today is so much superior to Elizaveta at Finlandia which makes the 73 pcs she got there look absurd. Its like comparing an actual dance performance to a tiktok "dance". Yes some people may find the tiktok dance to be "passionate" and fun. But anyone with any knowledge in dance, know it is not merit worthy

Skater should not be scored according to alleged issues some fans have against him/her from the past, but according to what is performed at the ice. This reminds me the case of Alina at the start of 2019-20 season. Just hope anna has enough strength to withstand similar claims that will inevitrably gather on her like a swarm of hornets.
Anna is unflappable. But she gets her quad's back Is watch out.

Maya is a real contender for the Olympic team. Anna should be in good form before nationals where she will be going for a unthinkable 4 peat against the ompetition in any one disciplined for one country in the history of figures skating.

What were the medalist scores like today 220 215 and 195?

The ISU should be embarrassed that they had such inflated scores last week in Finland and then such low scores today in Hungary. Why is it so hard for them to get on the same page and do their jobs well as judges using the same criteria at every competition?

Fair for once after Anna got away with many uncalled downgraded jumps last season.

That's a very interesting and unexpected comment. Especially coming from one of the biggest Evgenia fans on the forum. I figured Anna would be your favorite of the younger girls because she's been at TT the longest and is the favorite of Eteri like Zhenya was for years.

Another similarity between Anna and Zhenya is people used to say the same thing about Evgenia. ;)

#Congrats to Maiia. She deserves it. I love a good underdog and I think she is becoming to understand that she can have a shot the the olympic spot

# Maia won with an invalid element and a step and hand in one 4 to Anna. PCs didn't affect much... but the problem is if both skated clean .. Maiia probably would have won. So every spot in the olympics is for who wants to take it.
Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, but why was Maiia's 3Lz an invalid element?
