How to watch Channel One broadcast in 2023/24 season

This season there's no official Youtube stream. Replays are uploaded on this channel after a competition is over. There are two ways to watch the official broadcast:
1) Channel One website. The website is blocked in some countries by local providers. You can use Dutch VPN if you are from Europe, or Canadian VPN if you are from the USA to avoid the block.
2) VLC media player. Open this link: https://1tv-live-gcore.servicecdn.ru/dash-live3/streams/sport-1/sport-1.mpd via the player. This option is preferable because the broadcast quality will be better.

Also I think I've figured out how to make my stream run a better, I've sent my VPN to Russia. Although for some reason Google thinks I'm a bot - but then it thinks that when I set my VPN to Argentina to watch ISU events, so I'm not sure what that's all about.

For a second there I thought I saw Vladimir Morozov and I was really excited, but I don't think he'd be rinkside for the dance event - although admittedly I don't know what he's up to these days...

Oh no wait it's just some coach I haven't seen before who's hair looked redder from the side than the front. Man, I miss Vovan though.

The 1tv stream works well for me with my vpn set to Georgia(no Russia server available). So great after frustration trying to watch Japanese Nationals qq stream and having it time out.

Elizaveta Kirillova have been the top ice dancer in Nizhny Novgorod for a long time. But this season she lost the selection to Nats Krausova/Korochkin who moved up from juniors. Today Kirillova is in the stands. She is rooting for her training mates.

I don't like Prokopets/Vaskovich's dances, to be honest. Not this season or last season. They're kind of faceless. But it's very sad to see how they went from being the couple that defeated Mironova/Ustenko and made it to the national team to being the couple performing in the first warm-up of Nats.

I'm definitely going to study this discipline so I can start giving sophisticated commentary. As with pairs. Really starting to enjoy them.
