Let's look at the Class of 2010 and where they ended up in 2014.
Pairs
12.) Nicole Della Monica/Yannick Kocon: Della Monica finished 16th with new partner Matteo Guarise.
15.) Anais Morand/Antoine Dorsaz: Retired after 2010

Men
6.) Johnny Weir: Brief comeback in 2013; now doing commentary for NBC

Ladies
3.) Joannie Rochette: Retired immediately after Vancouver. Has done shows and pursued other commercial opportunities.
17.) Julia Sebestyen: The lady with the awesome triple lutz (and loads of longevity) retired after the 2009-2010 season.
Some corrections: Anais Morand did not retire in 2010, only Antoine Dorsaz did. She competed in singles and tried a new partnership, competing internationally with partner Timothy Leemann for a couple of years (here they are at their final competition, 2012 Worlds). It didn't work out, and I'm not sure what she's doing now. Yannick Kocon paired up with Lubov Iliushechkina, hoping to represent France, and they did compete once at the Masters (I think), but she could not get a release from her federation (jerks; they have enough pairs and she was no threat to anyone).

Joannie Rochette did not retire officially after Vancouver; she reportedly did consider a return to competition, but eventually decided against it.

If it's of any interest, Sebestyen is now a technical specialist.

Weir's comeback attempt was in 2012, not 2013 (technically the 2012-13 season).

Thanks for the addition! I will edit with your additions. ...

And yes, I totally forgot about Kovon. Out of sight out of mind...since we didn't really see them much this season.

I just bought a copy of the picture book "Triumph on Ice" that showed how skating changed, with heavy concentration on the 2010 Olympics. Nice to flip through and see memories of favorite skaters from that year. That will remain my favorite year in winter games. :)

Thanks for sharing this Mrs. P!!

Ice Dance

1.) Tessa Virtue/Scott Moir: Silver in Sochi
2.) Meryl Davis/Charlie White: Gold in Sochi
3.) Oksana Domnina/Maxim Shabalin: Never made an official retirement announcement, but stop competing after the Olympics. I believe both are still involved in skating in some way.
4.) Tanith Belbin/Benjamin Agosto: He's coaching in the Seattle area/She's dating Charlie White and doing various broadcasting stints with NBC/Universal Sports.
5.) Federica Faiella/Massimo Scali: They won bronze at the 2010 Worlds. They won bronze at Cup of China in 2010, but injury forced them out of their other event. Theyreturned one last time at 2011 Europeans, where they finished 5th. She's now a policewoman, he's working at Detroit Skating Club.
6.) Isabelle Delobel/Olivier Schoenfelder: Retired after the Olympics. Both still do shows.
7.) Nathalie Pechalat/Fabian Bourzat: Finshed 4th in Sochi
8.) Sinead Kerr/John Kerr: Won a second bronze at 2011 Europeans along with a second GP medal at Skate Canada in 2010. Retired after 2010-2011 Season. Both live in the US. and doing shows.
9.) Jana Khokhlova/Sergei Novitski: They spilt due to Novitski injuries. She partnered with Fedor Andreev in the 2010-2011 season. They finished 4th at Russian nationals. The partnership ended after Andreev retired. She now is coaching in Russia.
10.) Alexandra Zaretsky/Roman Zaretsky: Retired shortly after 2010 Worlds, where they finshed in 6th place.
11.) Emily Samuelson/Evan Bates: Finished 9th at 2010 Worlds. They sat out for a season due to Evan's injury but ultimately ended the partnership after the 2010-2011 season. Evan, as we all know, is now with Madison Chock.
12.) Anna Cappellini/Luca Lanotte: 6th in Sochi
13.) Nora Hoffman/Maxim Zaovzin: Made the 2010-2011 GPF, finishing sixth. Finished 8th at 2011 Europeans, but WD from 2011 Worlds. Have not competed since.
14.) Vanessa Crone/Paul Poirier: Won Skate Canada, made the 2010-2011 GPF, finishing 3rd. Also finished 3rd at 4CC in 2011 but then fell to 10th at 2011 Worlds. Their partnership ended shortly after that. Poirier is now with Piper Gilles, they finished 4th at Canadians, missing the Olympic team. Vanessa Crone teamed up with Nikolaj Sorensen briefly but they never competed before breaking up a few months later in 2012.
15.) Ekaterina Bobrova/Dmitri Soloviev: 5th in Sochi
16.) Anna Zadorozhniuk/Sergei Verbillo: WD form Worlds. Have not competed since 2010 Olympics. Any info on them?

22.) Allison Reed/Otar Japaridze: They ended their partnership after the 2010-2011 season. Both are with new partners: She with Vasili Rogov (for Israel) he with Angelina Telegina (for Georgia). Both teams competed at Nebelhorn for an Olympic spot, but neither qualified.
23.) Irina Stork/Taavi Rand: Finished 14th at this year's Europeans. Did not qualify for the Olympics.
More of a "what are they doing now" update.

Olivier Schoenfelder is coaching in Lyon.
John Kerr, in addition to doing shows, is also coaching some international skaters - I think he's worked with Galit Chait.
I believe the Zaretskis are coaching in Texas.
Emily Samuelson competed with Todd Gilles in 2011-12, but the partnership ended. She occasionally does shows as a solo skater.
Looks like Anna Zadorozhniuk coaches at the Ice House and I found her name listed as coach and choreographer for one of the intermediate ladies at 2013 US Nationals.

Hoffman & Zavozin had suffered some severe injuries, which led to their retirement. Don't Domina and Shabalin compete in the Russian equivalent of Skating With the Stars?
