Joannie is the most elegant skater on the planet. YUNA does not compare. Rochette deserves Gold. Do these judges not see she has done what no other athlete here would be capable of? She is first in my heart forrever!

i am not saying that she is not a big star in korea. of course she is a big star, famous, and makes a lot of money with her endorsements. i am just saying that she is not THE BIGGEST star there.
because, there really is no such thing if you think about it... everybody idolizes something/somebody different. just trying to clear up the misunderstanding that some people may have that yuna is like the pope or something in korea. most ppl did not even know much about figure skating there until yuna started winning major competitions, geez.

But she is the most marketable.

Wow after Joannie everyone is SO close to each other! Akiko 11th not good, but if you look at the score it does not mean much. It's all up to LP.

Glad to see Miki go for it.She has alot of guts. Don't love the music or the costume. Sandra is right, very slow footwork. I still love her fight.

I keep burning the japanese ladies dresses when they're not looking, hoping they'll come up with something better, and no- every time they keep the worst details and redesign whatever worked to look even worse...

i agree at least about mao's dress. akiko's dress looks fine to me. i blame tarasova. tarasova likes dark colors in material that looks like lingerie. and why does mao always have something on her outfit that is choking her neck??
she is a beautiful skater and deserves a beautiful costume :(

Rachael actually got lower TES than Mirai, she won over Mirai in the PCS. The only program component I can see Rachael outscoring Mirai by a little is in choreography/composition. The rest of it, not even in the same league.

And I'd have Joannie's PCS higher than Mao's. Mao's choreography this season is just terrible. There's no way choreography/composition and interpretation and performance/execution can compare to Rochette, or even other top skaters with the program Mao is given. And the only PCS Joannie beat Mao at are Interpretation (by .1) and Transitions (by .3). I love Mao but Joannie deserved the higher marks in PCS for the skate she put down.

Trust me she is the BIGGEST there may not forever, who is, you are right. But for the last year or two she has been and she will be for a while. Everyone buys everything she advertises, dresses like her, puts on make up like her. Her silly pair of jeans with blazers she wore to the first day of university, sold out in all department stores that very day. The president of the famous Korea university personally escorted her around the campus. Trust me they do that for no one. At the moment. Yes Korea is a country into a fad. And she will fade away, but right now, SHE IS THE BIGGES START, not a sports star. She has been voted #1 celebrity in Korea for two years in a row.
