So, if you were a body that issues nominations and awards, what would your choice be? This is indeed very subjective and personal so let's not get too serious about it, please :slink:

I am thinking about many but I already have one for the titular post.
The team of ISU YouTube Live streams receives my special award for respectful commentaries all through the season :thank:

Well, I've got a few in addition (although I agree on the respectful commentaries)

Shoma Uno for having the best demonstrations of what exhaustion means (sits on the ice, lying down). Awesome!
Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri share with Kevin Amoz for the best K&C enthusiasm
Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara's expressiveness - both in joy and sadness, and also both of them!
Keegan Messing for sheer emotion.
The Japanese audience for being knowledgeable as well as supportive for all skaters.

I am going for Belinda Noonan and Mark Hanrety for the best two co-annoncers of figure skating broadcast.

I dont call them commentating couple because they are not couple at all.
But for the first time this was pretty good.

Belinda is so on the point with every camera catch of the event. Ok, I don't undestand her like 1/3 times because her Australian pronnounciation, but from all I understand it's hard to disagree with her. In depth knowledge of figure skating. You can see she knows all the details of top ISU events she never commentated that you understand she was passionate watcher. She knows her balance between proper admiratation and proper criticism.

Mark is so knowledgable of figure skating behind the scene and so prepared. She is also figure skating nerd with very on-the-point comments without need to excaberate any skater or thing that happened. But yeah, because of Scottish accent, I also don't undestand him all the time. But he is improving every competition .

Belinda for calling out Morisi's quad "toe"
Belinda for calling out Shoma's "quad" flip

Seeing Eteri with all of her justifiably brutally scored skaters at Worlds - and hopefully never seeing her again since I won't watch Russian events

Most emotional moment: Mai Mihara medalling at nats. That was a big win after so many health struggles and 4th/5th places that prevented her to go to WC (and olys). It was more special because 4 years ago, she couldn't compete at worlds in Saitama because of a 4th place (despite having perfect judges's scores). To see her bag her ticket was emotional.

Laurence’s skirt was absolutely stunning—can we give it a thread of its own?

But seriously, IMO that costume will be remembered as one of the all-time greats. Unforgettable!:hap10: :points:

- Keegan having the best season of his life.
Yep, and he has to split with Jason the 'Uncle? What Uncle?' of the Year Award.

- Yuzu for showing the non-skating world how great figure skating can be.

And for proving ice shows, even solo ice shows, can be really successful if done right, and the award for the biggest figure skating audience in history (to be fair, the only other possible contender, Henie, couldn't stream :))

Also,Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara for best Kiss n Cry.

Minsol Kwon, The Most Adorable Person on any official ISU Rink, no contest.

Junhwan for being the Most Likely (now he's a world medallist and is growing up rather beautiful) to Break Out as a Star to the Public award.

Mai for being Mai. Mai and Piper/Paul for the Fightback When It Counted award.

The Korean girls for the best costumes in comp, and Yuzu for the best all round (even if the new ones were only worn for five minutes tops )

And a special award of my heart goes to Kōhei Uchimura for easily the most outstanding Let's Get On the Ice For the First Time Ever In Front of Umpteen Thousand People And Somehow Keep Our Dignity medal.
