Events

The 2020 Budapest Trophy is one of a series of events of the 2020-21 Figure Skating Challenger Series. The Challenger Series was established by the International Skating Union (ISU) during the 2014–15 season and the events consist of a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The series allows skaters to gain World Standing Points and is also a chance for officials to officiate at an international level, however, no World standing or ranking points will be awarded during the 2020-21 season due to COVID. The Volvo Open Cup is an international figure skating competition held in Riga, Latvia, for all disciplines in the Senior, Junior, Advanced/Intermediate/Basic Novice, and younger categories. It was part of the ISU Challenger Series during the 2014–15 season. Official Site Results

The Santa Claus Cup is an international figure skating competition for Advanced,  Intermediate, and Basic novice skaters and younger (chicks and cubs), as well as Juniors and Seniors. Results

The NRW Trophy is an annual international figure skating competition organized by the Skating Union of North Rhine-Westphalia and since 2007, it has been sanctioned by the Deutsche Eislauf Union and the International Skating Union. It is held every autumn at Westfalenhallen in Dortmund, Germany. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The competition is held in two parts. The Ice Dance Trophy is held for ice dancing levels pre-novice to senior in early November. Inclusive Skating provides international, national and local competition in Figure Skating. There is a wide range of events to choose from within the competition structure. There are Free, Pair, Dance, Figure, Speed and Synchro events for duets, trios, quads, teams from 5 to 10 skaters and super teams with 11 to 16 skaters. These allow for the inclusion of skaters with all forms of disability and support needs, including those that use a harness, frame, balance facilitator or wheelchair. Official site

2020 Winter Star is an international figure skating event for all four disciplines (ladies, men, pairs, and ice dance) for both the junior and senior levels. It is currently scheduled to take place in Minsk, Belarus. Results

The 2021 Russian Figure Skating Championships (Russian: Чемпионат России по фигурному катанию на коньках 2021) will be held December 23-27, 2020, in Chelyabinsk. Medals will be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The results will be used to select the Russian teams for the 2021 European Championships and 2021 World Figure Skating Championships. Official Site

The 2020–21 Japan Figure Skating Championships (全日本フィギュアスケート選手権)  will be held December 23–27, 2020. It will be the 89th edition of the event. Medals will be awarded in all four disciplines of skating for the senior level. The results will be part of the Japanese selection criteria for the 2021 World Championships. Official Website Entries

The 2021 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships will be held from January 11–21, 2021 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Medals will be awarded in all four disciplines at the senior and junior levels. The results will be part of the U.S. selection criteria for the 2021 World  Figure Skating Championships. The event was originally scheduled to take place San Jose, Calif., but a decision was made to relocate the event to Las Vegas, Nev. As with 2020 Skate America, no spectators will be permitted. The 2021 Egna Dance Trophy will be held Feb 6-7, 2021, at the Würtharena in Egna, Italy. The annual international ice dance competition which will feature junior and senior ice dance teams. Entries/Results  

The 2021 Celje Open will be held Feb. 12-14, 2021, in Celje, Slovenia, at the Mestni Park indoor arena. The event will feature ladies and men (singles discipline) at the senior level with a maximum of 30 entries in each category. Results

The 2021 TallinK Hotels Cup will take place Feb 18-21 in Tallinn, Estonia, at the Škoda Ice Rink. It is an international figure skating event held annually and is open to single skaters in the junior and senior division. The inter-club event is for single skating forPre-Chicks A, Chicks A & B, Cubs A & B, Springs B, Novice B, Basic Novice, Intermediate Novice, Advanced Novice, and Pre-Young. The 2021 Challenge Cup is set to take place Feb 25-28 in The Hague, Netherlands. The event, formerly known as the Ennia Challenge Cup and the Aegon Cup, is an annual international figure skating competition. This year all disciplines are invited to take place in the Senior division. Entries/Results

The 2021 Sofia Trophy is scheduled to take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, Feb 26-Mar 3, 2021. It is an international figure skating competition held annually in Sofia, Bulgaria, in which single skaters compete in the senior, junior, and novice levels. It is part of the European Criterium.
