Hanyu and his team know better about his state. Cuts on head usually look worse than they are and Yuzuru likes to stay on the ice when tired/unwell. But it is Han who is in more serious condition and is not skating. I hope he will be OK.

We don't really know, Han Yan might (thankfully) simply be more reasonable here... the scary thing isn't the blood, it's that Yuzu was out cold for quite a while.

The officials should be ordering Hanyu to withdraw. With any head injury involving concussion/unconsciousness, then you should be straight off to hospital

Actually, I think the medics that treated Yuzu were from Team Japan, and ngl Japan is just very exaggerated when it comes to these things (they take it way too seriously). So maybe Yuzu complained of a headache/his head pounding--not necessarily a concussion--and so they wrapped a bandage around his head. I think. I hope they release a statement soon regarding Han.

Yuzuru needs to do what Han Yan is probably doing - get to a hospital and have a CT scan done ASAP. This is not worth it, there could be a hematoma inside!

He wasn't unconscious. He just didn't get up immediately; isn't that Hanyuu's habit? He doesn't get up immediately, breathes a bit, though I'm not undermining any pain he must have been feeling when he was down there. But he was not unconscious.

Not a good thing.

One key thought of a champion is to know when he's beat and to accept it. (Or in this case, when he simply cannot compete.) Regardless of how he skates, I think Hanyu is pretty stupid (sorry for lack of a nicer word) to risk it. Especially how hard he was hit.
