Rule 140
1.
a)
On-site medical services
In Figure and Speed Skating Competitions, a trained emergency
medical team, consisting of an appropriately trained medical doctor and
adequate number of emergency paramedical staff, must be present at
each arena during all scheduled practices and competitions.
An ambulance must be accessible within five (5) minutes for the
treatment of ill or injured Skaters. If the response time is more than five
(5) minutes, an ambulance must be on site.
