Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Here is an article , can someone translate a bit?? It was posted on yuzuru fb site...and comment was that the japanese feseration will now consider sending a doctor to all international events....can someone confirm??

Hmm... according to this article,Yuzuru's medical test result will be announced in 10 days and JSF will consider sending medical team after what happened in Shanghai but due to budget it will be impossible to send medical team for every player so they might consider providing medical team for top players who are competing in foreign country only. They also said none of the team in Shanghai brought their own doctor. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Why does the test result took so long to be announced?

Nick Mii9000 from the other forum has translated the article. I only quote one paragraph here:

after the shocking accident of Hanyu, JSF have decided to discuss on improving their system of medical support. Mr. Ito revealed He would report the accident to the designated committee and they would resume their discussion.” Due to the issues of our budget, it is difficult to send a doctor to every competition of all divisions, but it may be plausible to send one to competitions for SAs like Hanyu.

Hanyu appeared on wheelchair when he left the hotel at Shanghai and needed help to get into a car. When his fans gave him get-well wishes, he answered them by bowing and waving his hand from the car. He thanked the JSF staff (who drove him to the airport) saying “I am sorry to cause you a trouble this early morning.” Hanyu, who also injured his left leg, expressed his desire to participate in NHK on 28th, but it depends on the result of his medical check whether it is possible.

I am afraid we will have to wait in 10 days.

Why does the test result took so long to be announced?
I have the same question. Why 10 days????

Maybe it means they will announce if he'll compete at NHK in 10 days time.

[VIDEO] Skaters (Kanako Murakami, Keiji Tanaka, Elizaveta Tukatmysheva) talking about their reaction to Hanyu's freeskate + spectators, reaction on twitter
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x29qy79_141110%E9%81%B8%E6%89%8B%E3%81%8B%E3%82%89 %E3%81%AE%E3%82%B3%E3%83%A1%E3%83%B3%E3%83%88-%E3%83%90%E3%83%BC%E3%83%89%E3%82%88%E3%82%8A_spor t

Ahh... I was wondering what he was saying in the KnC as he was being helped out.. In lower quality feeds I couldn't hear properly so I thought he was saying "my leg hurts", but it was actually "thank you very much".
I'll just roughly translate what the other skaters had to say:
Murakami: I was really shocked, but first of all really worried. Right now I think that it would be really good for him rest. [About his performance] I thought, yeah, just as one would expect, he's incredibly strong.

Tanaka: I was really shocked. Honestly, at first I was just wondering what happened. I completely didn't understand. But to skate with the state of those injuries, I thought his emotional strength/willpower is amazing.

Tuktamysheva: I wasn't there in person to see it, but I saw it on the monitor. It was really amazing. I thought he already looks like he's about to fall down (?), I wanted to say to him "It's okay" and I had this feeling of wanting to run up to him and give him a hug. :o:

Orser and Hanyu's reaction to the score is a bit hilarious, they were preparing for the worst and they were both like "lol what??" when it was announced. "Wow" "What happened??" "I don't know" "Oh my god" and then tears...

Forgive my english.

I roughly read the article. And i think it says that the result will be released today(on the 10th) as opposed to in ten days. And that JSF usually only has doctors to accompany team Japan when there is a relatively large no. of skaters attending(world and junior world stated in the article)

After what happened to hanyu, they will reconsider the matter. But due to budget problem, it is not feasible to have doctors accompanying each and every team attending overseas competition. However, it is possible that in the future, they will assign a doctor to accompany more highly-ranked skaters such as hanyu.

10 days!!!!!!!!!! Why so long I cant take the suspence! I hope that its just a precaution to see if he can skate in the NHK or not I pray its nothing serious! I just want Hanyu to make a full recovery!

This is more logical~

I don't think I have ever been this concerned for an athlete before (I'm still sad over this), it's still heartbreaking to watch his LP. This event seems to have taken over the Japanese media (especially television broadcast and newspapers). Hopefully Yuzu will gradually recover and not overwork himself somehow from now on.

Thanks a lot shingalas!

Kanako's "just as one would expect, he's incredibly strong" shows how well she knows him. Of course the camera had to zoom in for her reaction to Yuzuru's skate (0:51) .

Liza was so sweet. I think she and the other Russian wonder girls have a soft spot for the Japanese Golden Boy. ;)

Brian was really in loco parentis mode during the K & C: "The main thing is that you went out and skated...That's what you need to be most proud of."

Forgive my english.

Welcome to and thanks belialelouch! What a time for a first post. I hope you are right about the medical results being released today.

Thanks for welcoming me and pls call me lia... I know this is such a bad time for a first post but if my rusty JPN and broken English can help ease your minds, then I am glad... I was just really contented to spy on this thread every now and then. But after the whole accident, I figured that we should stick together during the hard times, no?

I hope I am right about the report, too! I cross checked with another friend and she agrees that the report should be out by today...

I want to bring everyone's attention to this article written by a couple of amazing users on tumblr. It outlines exactly who should have been blamed and who should not have in this incident. I urge everyone to read this. They go step by step through all the rules in ISU and why this incident was so important and why it is CRUCIAL that something like this can be prevented from happening ever again. PLEASE READ THIS!

Ditto. I really hope the results is positive and the outcome is more or less like Han Yan at the very least *trying to be positive* :slink:

Examination release! Yuzu need to treat 2~3 weeks. The further schedule will be depend on his recovery!

Precious checks results are: "Head contusion, lower jaw contusion, abdominal contusion, left thigh contusion, and right ankle sprain" (頭部挫創、下顎挫創、腹部挫傷、左大腿挫傷、右足関節捻挫)

Sorry, I am not so sure about those terms. They might be not proper!

IMO, it might be a good chance to let whole national people to monitor him treated as necessary. Good boy, take rest, and come back stronger!

Contusion (bruising) in the head, chin, abdomen, and the left thigh. He also has a sprain in his right ankle. It will take about 2-3 weeks for him to fully recover

Those injuries look crazy! He's in absolutely no shape to skate whatsoever!
(and I thought having my bottom two wisdom teeth extracted was painful!!)
