To answer your question: no, I don't think his parents will let him compete at NHK after what happened at CoC. But who knows.

it depends on many things,

If he just listen Orser regarding jumps sometimes. He can go and do two clean programs without any quad and still win there, but he is too stubborn, and must always push this too risky 4S no matter how he feels :scowl:

He don't need it to winning, but he is just keeping it

If he competes- there will be quads, trust me. He would not step in for the sake of the participation. He will fight. The only thing he might skip would be second part of the program quad. He would sure go for two quads at the beginning.
I hope he would have enough time for treatment and follow it rigorously. If he is smart then he has be strategic. I think there is this kind of quality in him- have you noticed the way he planned his LP when he stood back on the ice for a warm-up? He calculated the steps before jumps, calculated the jumps, he adjusted the spins- nobody told him what to do- he did that by himself. He was aware of what he was doing. He was in shock, he experienced a lot of pain and he made himself think, plan and execute. He is a rare find. I totally admire him.

Thank you for this video! I did not know he didn't sleep the night before LP in Sochi. He must have been so exhausted. And... eh... that is not a good advertising for that application Brian brought *wink* *wink*.

An athlete like Yuzuru comes around only once in a lifetime. I feel privileged to watch this young man as he fulfills his destiny which I believe to become one of the greatest (if not the greatest) figure skater of all time. What we witnessed at CoC was a display of grit, determination, resolve and an uncanny ability to focus through extremely adverse circumstances. It may have been foolish, but these qualities define his greatness.

Thanks for sharing! I'd seen a lot of the clips before but not everything in the vid. I think most people that know/are learning an additional language would be like that, right? I certainly will try and type/speak Japanese much more so over the internet or with a friend than I ever would on camera :

Saw people are wondering why the case for LP doesn't resemble his costume. I think it resembles only the white part. But why leaving out that gorgeous black and red part?? And where is that golden color from?

I have a strange theory that there were actually two different costumes planned.:think: I even thought he might have gone with that Xylitol costume (then I would have called that program not a Phantom but a Xylitol-man, he he, good it never happenned). Perhaps they sorta monitored the audience opinion on it through internet and came to a conclusion that Xylitol-man should not happen. So we get yet another black and white with a strategical red and strasses blink from Yuzuru. And now I miss that chocolate red costume which was not that bad and was kinda different even though it does not fit the program the way it was created.
But it could also be a bottle connected to his EX program. And they simply forgot to bring the LP bottle wear.
Please don't take any of the above too seriously.

Thanks for the SP bottle shot. I still think the lp case is actually the ex case for FTT. I can't see any flowers in POTO costume in the white part *squint* Maybe because there is so much detailing in the Phantom costume mama Hanyu gave up or its still a WIP.

I've uploaded NBC & CBC's version of Yuzu's FS. Sorry the quality is not very good because I'm still trying to figure out how to rip the files out from my tv box, so the intermediate solution is filming it with my ipad while having the files play on TV >_<

Thank you, Dasani! I've been wanting to hear CBC's commentary on Yuzuru's FP for a while now. I always preferred their commentary more than NBC and British Eurosport (not much of a fan of theirs anymore after those inappropriate comments towards Han Yan and Yuzuru's incident).
