The big thing I've noticed in both Elena and Ruslan at CoR and CoC is how happy they look together. They really do seem to love skating with each other, and that passion is so evident on the ice, especially in their Carmen. While I might have mourned the splitting of I/K at first, it feels like this new pairing is more stable with a much healthier training atmosphere now that Morozov is out of the picture.

Exactly. He's presenting her for people to see her,without showing any kind of stress about all this.This is his job and he's doing it perfectly, and the result is, that to me, she seems more free, more mature,more calm than before.Even at the press conference videos on YouTube she looks calm, composed, more sure about herself.

And I have to say that this girl can move, there were some parts both in the SD and the FD that she was doing what I always thought she could do.A partner that isn't jealous of you is a very important thing.Some people need love and people believing in them to grow

Yes, I knew about Charlie but I thought he was helping a bit the Shibs. Didn't know about Tanith.
Maybe she is not involved with S&K though.

True. Although this is the beginning and always new and exciting.
Couples goes through hard times as well and that's when you're really tested.

I just wish them all the best in this world because as MK's Winter said, the sky is the limit for these two.

I do have to say I wouldn't read TOO much into this. Quite separate from any bad feelings Nikita or Elena or both might/do have about the break up/the partnership, and quite separate from any blame that could/should be put on either of them I think that

1. It's totally natural both would be curious how the other's partnership is coming along/how the other is doing. This curiosity could be for any number of reasons, but whatever the reason I think it would be a lot stranger if neither thought about the other at all.

2. The whole thing must be VERY strange for both of them on some level. You see someone almost every day, for half your waking hours, and you are working toward a common goal. To go from that to never seeing the person must be a real adjustment. In some ways this can go with the 'curiosity' thing but I think it's more than curiosity- I think that when any serious long term relationship ends (friendship, romantic, business) there is a void of some kind, and that void lasts for a while. This is true even if you think the 'break up' was for the best and even when you don't like the person anymore. They were a big part of your life and are a big part of your past. You can't undo that.

I saw Kustarova kissing her, both after the SP&LP, and she was with Gennadi Karponosov. If I'm not mistaken.

That's Olga Ryabinina. She was Monko and Khaliavin's and Zlobina and Sitnikov's original coach in Kirov and dragged them around Russia looking for better training conditions before merging her group with Kustarova's in 2009. She is a tech specialist at the national level so she probably works on elements, but it seems like she works more with juniors and Kustarova's "foreign couples" (i.e. Whoever happens to be skating for Uzbekistan).
