Congrats Yuzuru! Even if he's regretting the performance, you know he'll be grateful for the chance at redemption.
I really thought it was over for Yuzuru but wow, can't believe he still got into the GPF by just 0.15 points. Like what Mrs. P said at the NHK Trophy thread, Yuzuru should thank Jeremy for popping the 3lz, and Jason should probably get mad at Jeremy for not fully rotating it 
Meoima was so sure that Yuzuru will not go

Edit: Since Yuzuru isn't pleased with his LP performance here at NHK, does that mean he'll change his costume again?

Wow, I didn't watch it live because I was afraid about being over-nervous by the entire drama of the competition. But reading updates and general news about what happened is a lot less emotionally draining than seeing it on livestream.
Anyway, congrats to Yuzu for making it to the GPF! He never ceases to surprise us! And how the hell did he have another costume prepared for the POTO program?! WOW! (that's a neutral reaction, not sure if I like it yet ...)
Figure skating has never been this exciting (in both good and bad ways), hahaha

It would be amazing if he had like, a total of 5 different costumes prepared for his POTO program. Each separately made for the times he wanted a wardrobe change out of nowhere. I'm still in shock over the costume, is that a bad thing?

I was literally shouting YESS when I saw Jeremy's score. I knew he had to score 148.29 or lower for Yuzuru to qualify for the GPF (if not Jason would have qualified), and he did. OMG. And I get to see Yuzuru live again, this time at Barcelona!! 
Hopefully Yuzuru gets a good few days rest before preparing for the GPF. He deserves it.

About the new costume - I love it!!!! I think it's better than the first one I bet Yuzu changed it because of all bad things that happened in China. I'm so happy he manage to go to GPF, because I'm going to see him live in Barcelona! About jumps - I also think it's a mental thing 
He did so well during practice - his jumps look effortless as usual. I guess he's really feeling quite well now but he needs his confidence back.

Congratulations to Yuzuru! When I saw the live results I thought he still had a chance to qualify because Jeremy doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to keeping his lead (Exhibit A: Skate America) so when he DID win over Jeremy I wasn't exactly surprised (but gutted for Jason tho). Knowing he performed through his injuries to make the GPF (not saying it was correct or wise but...) just makes me ten times happier for him. Congrats again! Rest well and amaze us with a set of beautiful performances at GPF

I am kind of glad that Yuzuru only got 1 fall, though. At least the pop jumps doesn't look bad as the fall.
I am worried about his health condition. Now we have GPF and Nationals... To worry over him. More heart attack. :sarcasm:

Has anyone noticed that the water bottle cover that Mama Hanyu made with the black bottom, gold and white top...seems to match his new costume better than the first one since it didnt have any red on it???? This is just a minor thing but its 5 am here and well, now i cant sleep cause im so happy Yuzu made the finals!!!!
