Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Thank you for the pictures ShiroKJ.

Question: does Ghana has a promotion with Yuzuru? Found this on tumblr and was wondering.

It have been exactly one week since Yuzuru´s operation. Wonder how he´s doing.

I´m guessing he is already allowed to move a little, and maybe the long stay in the hospital is because of safety against infection.

And second I was wondering about Holiday vacations for skaters. It looks like Javier has been in vaction since december 22nd, and he traveled to Spain yesterday. So he had almost 2weeks vacation? If them Yuzuru coulda have had 2 weeks vacation, and start trainning next week.

Brian looks like he is looking at gum. Wonder if he bought some Xylitol White? :laugh2:
Lol, maybe that grin on his face was because he saw Yuzu's promo costume?
Is that calendar already out for sale ? looks nice.
Yeah I believe I saw it on amazon or something. I'll look for the link later.

For holidays and vacations, I think it all depends on the skater. Its not like the coach can force them to come to practice if they don't want to...I mean it IS the skater who hires the coach. So while coaches can plan a training schedule for the skater, its really up to them to decided when and if they want to practice. That's why work ethic is so important

EDITED to note that link to video no longer accessible to public.

I believe that the original plan was for Yuzuru to return to Toronto mid-January. But with the operation and treatments, maybe now mid-February?

With Yuzuru in recovery, I thought it would be nice to bring back this documentary of Yuzuru and his training in Toronto.

I have no idea how things are in this case, but I've been told that at least with abdominal surgery patients are now usually encouraged to get up and move as soon as possible. I had an emergency appendectomy about 18 months ago and got yanked out of bed right the next morning (wonderful experience. almost couldn't stop myself from thanking the nurse by hitting her with an IV stand :sarcasm: ) Early mobilization apparently helps with the healing process and can prevent complications. Again, I have no idea how this works here, just talking out of my bootie  but it might just be that he's been sneaking around the hospital for days already.

I have no clue about what he is talking about, though.

Happy new year everyone, was away for holiday but now it's back to reality.

His voice is so soothing, maybe after retirement he should host a radio show talking about Japanese athletics with an emphasis on figure skating. I would listen to it despite not knowing what he's saying haha.

I was listening to it without knowing a single word except 'Hanyu Yuzuru' and 'Love in Action'

If he will still struggle with quad sal I hope he will change it for quad loop... at least more points than quad sal .. just sayin :laugh2:

this is the rest of the pictures from the 2015 calendar, and these are the pictures included in that tiny desktop calendar. Bad quality, but you get the idea ;)

Not sure if this has been posted before. At the GPF they had this booklet with infos about all the skaters and I scanned Yuzuru's page. Not sure why because it's once again one of those :rolleye:-pictures. But I'm kinda getting used to those
