I don't know for sure, but soundtrack's theme and rythm is definetely a waltz. I have it as a ringtone on my phone btw
But it doesn't matter now, since in the interview you kindly posted for us here, Katia said herself that they will keep the FD for the next season. And they will make it more difficult.
I'm glad about that too. I really want to see that FD. :yes:

She's working on her SS. She has a hockey puck under her... i don't know how to say it in English... under teeth of her free leg's skate. It's more difficult to do dance steps and turns that way, because she can't move her free leg in the air to balance herself. At least, that's what I think. Maybe I'm wrong, we need some professional to enlighten us
P.S. I know it's not related to this thread. But I did a couple of real twizzles today
I always lose my balance after second rotation though. And I have no idea where to put my hands!!!But I'm actually progressing, didn't know it's possible

Congrats on your progress! And thanks for explaining what she's doing!
Also I have to say that, at least from this angle, her posture looks pretty good. Like she seems very upright with a straight back

From the mouth of Maurizio Margaglio, apparently there is a possibility that Bobrova will skate with Khaliavin.

No, nothing. The words of Margaglio were discussed a bit at the Russian boards as well, but nobody seems to know anything more. Maybe, just another piece of crazy rumours?

Ekaterina and Dimitri have been skating together all their lives. They have stuck together through all the other ups and downs. I really hope that his injury isn't so severe that he would have to retire and Ekaterina would have to take a new partner

That's the only reason I could ever see her search for another partner, and I really do hope with all my heart that is not the case.
I really hope Dimitri is getting healthy again.That's not gonna happen. They wanted to skate four more years at least. But I have a feeling that there's some 'talks' inside RSF about possible partner switching. Kirill doesn't fit her, like, at all. I think her possible team up with Katsalapov has more potential than with Khaliavin. Seriously. So, not gonna happen.

What do you mean with "possible partner switching"? With whom is Ksenia supposed to skate?
I don't know anything for sure, I just know that RSF is not happy with Dima's recovering and his mental state overall. Piseev told himself that Katia has a lot of potential and it's a shame that she skipping her time, maybe even her peak, while Dima is struggling and not trying harder to recover. Sounds stupid by the way.
That's why I think Katia probably had a proposition or at least gentle hint that maybe she should skate with someone else, who's more... healthy. I think I phrased my thoughts wrong, I didn't mean 'switching' like I/K and S/Z. Just some splits and maybe some new teams. But again, nothing official, just my speculations. I hope I'm wrong.

Dimitri is one of the top male partners though - almost anyone else would be a huge downgrade in skill even if you don't think about the chemistry and new partner issues

I remember Piseev's comment about Dima. They were really low.
