Looks like Sendai Coming-of-age ceremony in Sendai had a space for Yuzuru more in this facebook group

It seems so many Yuzu freaks in Japan are running around to get his clear holders of Ghana chocolate

This blogger says she inquired so many places and shops to get them (trying to forget about the embarassment when asking ), but it is already in far more demand than Xylitol ones and she has given up to collect all types. So sorry for her.

I'm not so intrested in this kind of novelties myself, but, that said, I'll try Family Mart somewhere near the office (as the campaign will start from 19th in Kanto area, I heard so, but not sure at which shops other than Family Mart)

while i randomly wathcing videos on youtube i came accross to this one from finlandia trophy in 2012, its warm up, he really dodged another bullet there, it looks scary, would be really ugly if he hadnt noticed it :hopelessness:

Good thing he reacted fast enough...best case scenario, he gets knocked to the ice and worst, that guy could have lost some fingers.....

Yikes, glad he noticed in time. Also, why does he hold his arms out during that 2T around 4:00? I realize that he's probably practicing for the 4T, but what is the point of holding out his arms? Just curious because I don't skate myself ^^

who knows, maybe he noticed the take off wasnt right so he didnt try it, i saw him open his arms like that before as well, maybe habit

Yes I think it is for practice ^^ Since he is going the same speed and jumping the same height at he would a quad, if he were to bring his arms in, he would over-rotate the double.

I found an old video from after the 2012 NHK Trophy with Yuzuru and Mao (the winners of that event) in an interview. It was really interesting to see Hanyu comment on the previous version of his Parisienne Walkways SP and interact with Mao-chan. :yay: Plus, the entire competition was held in Sendai!

Also found an even older interview from 2010 NHK Trophy where Yuzuru placed fourth, this was his senior debut in competition. Can't believe he was interviewed back then too! (and spoke in such polite, adult-like manner)

A bit off topic... but sometimes, i have this selfish feeling of wanting yuzuru to just step down and let someone else take over the top so i can enjoy his skating without worrying about others trying to bring him down with their words

I know it is best to ignore but it is kind of hard not to care and feel sorry for yuzuru

Haven't you noticed that she only hates on Yuzuru for aspects of his skating that her faves aren't the best at as well? And plus Yuzuru will have haters even if he isn't at the top anyway.

Maybe because both look uke. normal ships are often seen as uke and seme you know.
I'd say Yuzuru looks uke but has the seme personality though.
