Final point from the interview: thanks to Mrs. P, I know that Jason added the triple salchow to his program at CoR after missing the lutz (I'm not savvy enough to "follow" the programs). Jason confirmed that although he added the jump at CoR was because he "messed up", it will now be part of his program. Necessity is the mother of invention....

I think the 3Lz-1 lo-3S combo was already planned to go after the first 3Lz -the one he fell out of. So he just tacked it on after the second 3Lz instead. I'm glad he's leaving it there instead if moving it back to the old place.

He also received a standing ovation for his SP in Greensboro in 2011.

It was his senior debut program at Nationals!.

IN is giving free access to some Nats 2011 throwback videos from Greensboro, including:

It's official Plushies will be donated to Ronald McDonald House

FSO Webmaster ‏@fsonline
.@jasonbskates will donate items given to him at #NC2015 to families at the Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem http://bit.ly/1J92QX6

So who's fans will get to blame Jason for too much love this time? Of the group he is in, my fear is that Adam Rippon will skate after him as he is the one in the group that is most likely to be rattled by it. I think I want Sean Rabbit to go after him. He seems like the type that would not be adversely affected by an avalanche of stuffed critters, he seems the type that might even be able to use the energy.

Also, I need more Rohene Ward in my life

Lol, Rohene and Johnny Weir should make a team... I am sure Johnny will be very happy with the throw quad and 3A. But wait... Can Johnny help Rohene when it comes to competitions?

Maybe they could put a box in the entrance, Japanese skating shows do that, so to not disturbe the next skater.

Saw this on Jason's twitter, I think, yesterday. I think Rohene and Jean-Luc Baker need a dance off!

And where of the rest of the USFA lip synchs? And did I miss Jason's 15 second get-to-know-me?

Someone did say Jason's clip was up for a few seconds on Instegram in the middle of the night. No more is known to my knowledge. He shows off his flexibility in the blooper reel if you have not seen in.

Rohene can have a dance off with anyone and everyone if we get more Rohene.

Is it wrong that I almost want it to be Jeremy again next? The thing that perhaps bewildered me most about that was that Jeremy's fans almost seemed to be insulting him by suggesting plushies threw him off!

I think most skaters will be pretty okay with it. The only potential issue might be Timothy Dolensky's lego set request.

He did request small sets so, hopefully people will listen.

Honestly I tend to agree it is an insult to Jeremy. He was clearly smiling during it. To me it is just so ridiculous It has to be joked about. I still want to see a skater play with it and use it to their advantage.

Personally, I kinda want to see a skater team up with a charity that needs things like socks/underwear/cotton T-shirts, etc. I know they exist - I think homeless shelters are often looking for clean new underwear. This would be something soft that could be thrown down, but also practical. I like practical.

There have been so many articles about Jason over the last week now that he's one of the front runners. I found this bit interesting in today's USA Today:

"We want to touch different people. So if you don't like Riverdance, you'll like Prince. If you don't like Prince, next year I'll do jazz," Brown said.

He's made fans out of the daughter of Little Walter, the Chicago blues musician who created Juke, and Maxime Rodriguez, composer of Tristan and Iseult. Brown's short program to Juke at Skate America brought Little Walter's daughter to tears, and Rodriguez was so impressed with Brown's free skate to Tristan and Iseult that he has offered to compose music for him.

"I literally have no words to really, truly say how CRAZY that is," Brown said. "Something I really find so crazy-cool is that the pieces I have skated have drawn those composers and people who are not into skating are into it and have watched it.

Last year it was Bill Whelan and the cast of Riverdance who embraced Jason and his skating. This year it's Little Walter's daughter and Maxime Rodriguez. We get to enjoy Jason's performances and the composers gain a new audience for their music. It's a win-win for everyone. :)

Thx, katmari. The article does appear to capture Jason's particular charm, and I thought it was adorable that he said he just wanted folks to follow skating again, whether it was him or someone else.

And a Jason program with *two* quads? :party2:

Congrats Jason on placing first in the SP and for handling the excessive quad questions with class. :)

Ice Network's social scene video with Michael Buckley / Jason Brown (including an unforgettable duet of Let It Go ) and answering the age old question - what do you do with all that junk?

Edited to add:

Steve Brown
NBC will be airing a piece on Jason tonight during the ladies free skate! Thanks for all the love and support!

I was in stitches at the end of that Social Scene. (I think Michael Buckley was desperate to get someone singing because he couldn't get Josh to!)

Good luck to Jason tomorrow in free skate. I watched his practice session today. Breathtaking and perfect. I am hoping the same for the real deal.

Awesome. I hope we'll see it clean! What was his SP like in person?

So entertaining with enormous jumps and a big smile the whole time. As usual he lit up the place.
Congratulations on your impending arrival and thanks for the great stats in the event thread.
