Russian Qualifiers and other important competitions

"Manual of Mordovia is very interested in conducting competitions in figure skating. Therefore, we have applied to the organization of a series of stages ISU Challenger in Saransk. If ISU with it, the tournament will be held either in September or October of this year, and the organizing committee will be headed by the head of the republic Vladimir Volkov "- said the Gorshkov on the phone.

Translated by google. Speaking of international competitions in Russia, why haven't there ever been a Junior Grand Prix competition in Russia?

Russian figure skating star Evgeny Plushenko might participate in the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, the National Olympic Committee said Thursday.

On a 729-name list of the national team, Plushenko is among 55 figure skaters to compete at the 23rd Winter Olympics due in South Korea in February, 2018.

This is old news but I never saw that list of 55 figure skaters. Can anyone provide a link to that list?

Thanks. I see that Zenkova/Sinitsin are in the list. Any news about them? They haven't competed this year as far as I know and didn't compete much last season either.

Pairs:
Alina Solovyova/Viktor Kudryavtsev (not sure if you would call them notable, they didn't get sent to JGP events, but they did place 4th at Russian junior nationals, beating Beklemishcheva/Bobrov and Gainetdinova/Alekseev)
Next season Alina Solovyova/Viktor Kudryavtsev will not compete internationally as Juniors (he is too old) and Seniors (she is too young).
From season 2016/2017 they can compete as Seniors.

Kolomiets comeback did not go well...she scored a 37 with a 14.5 TES(only 2 other skaters had lower TES) and is in 27th place.

I'm pretty sure this younger group is the qualifier for the Zonal championship of Russia and the top 6 are selected.

Fedichkina and Nugumanova were delisted. Ogoreltseva is in 8th place.

I'm going to wait till the FS to say anything about the rest of the skaters.
