Team Russia - Promising Young Skaters

Not sure if this was posted in one of the other threads - I've seen the photos floating around, but not the full article which includes profiles of Sima, Anna, Maria, Evgenia, and Victoria Bezrukov (I don't know anything about her at all).

I feel so much sympathy to Anna after reading this. I didn't know about such a serious injury she had in the past. She and her team should be proud.

On FB I have seen Nugumanova did 2A or 3A on the floor!! That was incredible. Of course when she grows up, her body will change and she might lose it, but for now she is sooooo promising. :drama:

I have a confession to make: I said my favourite SP of the year is either Liza T's Bolero at Nationals or Alena Leonova's Chaplin at NHK. But the truth is, my favourite SP might just be Elizaveta Nugumanova's. :slink: It sounded too silly to say in the relevant thread, since she's twelve years old and can't even compete in juniors...

I hope her team develops her very carefully. She doesn't seem to be a natural powerhouse jumper, but her spins, flow, and musicality should serve her well as long as she has good enough technique to keep her current jumps.

Nce find Alba. Why haven't I known about her? :disapp:

Because while she is a good skater she gets trounced by all the other KMC girls. I don't follow her but I'm guessing it's consistency issues. She is very loved on Instagram though because she speaks English well and will respond and interact with you.

She is competing right now in the Russian Nationals Younger age competition and is currently #19 after the elements. http://fsrussia.ru/results/1415/specprogramma1415/CAT003RS.HTM

Here is her fskate.ru profile: http://www.fskate.ru/skaters/2755.html
