Ah I love Satoko, she's adorable, what a great skate

She skated perfectly and with great expression, but... darn it, I blame the Jump-a-matron. It's impossible to not be distracted by the jumps now. :hopelessness: I thought she improved them at Worlds, but here, I'm 90% sure most of the rotation is happening on the ice.

I feel like a horrible person, saying this after a clean skate... but I'm already feeling bad for Zijun.

I love Satoko's LP...but I'm not sure if her tiny jumps will keep her in the top through the quad. My favorite part of her programs this season is the Lea Salonga bit in the LP...which might be just because I love her voice so much.

Satoko has great skating skills and interpretation, but I really, really want to see her jumps improve and I hope it isn't too late.

I agree. Also Marin Honda, currently a novice, also has fantastic arm gestures. Marin also is under coach Mie Hamad, with Satoko.
