I think in the photo she's smiling at her phone. Maybe they were looking at something in the mobile (instagram, VK, or some fun video) then someone took photo, the guy looked up while she's still smiling.

Maybe but take a look at the lutz video again. It looks like it might be filmed from a cell phone that is recording the monitor. The table and wall look similar to the one in the other photo. The good news is I'm about 100% certain that video replay is available for her to check her progress :clap:

Maybe that's why it looks like she is in the penalty box in that second photo. Could it be judges revenge :p

Guess what girl and her coach are currently at Canton training camp? :cool: Julia seems happy, skipping through the halls and chatting with Victoria and Nikita. I don't know if she will work on stroking or choreography or what, but some Russian team mates from Eteri's camp are there too. Wishing Julia the best in the new season! Go Team Russia!

Oh god, she is working with Marina on the choreo?
 
Haha, I don't know that. She may just work on stroking, or expression, or she could work with Scali. Usually the skaters go do some work with all the teachers. I don't worry for her, Julia is a wise girl and knows what she wants. We'll have to wait and see..

I like some of Marina's choreography very much actually, but sometimes she can be very...how do I put this...too much romanticism. It can be a hit or miss. Anyway, it will be a very good experience for Yulia, working outside Russia per a bit. :)

The Detroit Red Wings should pay her to do an Ina Bauer across the ice to open up the playoff game tonight :biggrin: When I go home this weekend she'll only be about an hour away from me. That's weird for some reason :laugh:
