I know this is old but I just want to make it clear, well about...several dozens of pages ago we heard of the tabloid in which Denis Ten said something not good about Shanghai, then there's mention of skater and his staff make it difficult for him to get on the bus bla Bla and that maybe he implied Yuzuru. I have just found the video in which the interview happened and we can be sure that there was no such a thing.

My Russian friend translated it for me and you can be sure that Denis did not say any bad thing about any skater at all. He simply said the organization wasn't very good, there's some troubles. But then again even Worlds at Saitama got trouble with the location (hotel was too far) so I guess it's like that for many sport events.

Many details in this interview are the same as in the tabloid, and some questions are the same so I think it's this from this interview the tabloid took source from. But all in all the tabloid has fabricated a lot, to make Denis seem to accuse other competitors and organizations while in fact he said no such thing. Nothing about any bus, fans, staff or any other skaters.

I hope this is the end of all doubt.

This year TEB will be held in Bordeaux like last year. The city is not as glamorous as Paris but you can eat awesome canelés there ^^

Shame. :-( Paris is easy to get to by train from where I live. Bordeaux is almost as far as Barcelona. Not an option for me when Barcelona is also in the works.

Where do you live exactly? Maybe by plane it can be easier? For exemple when I take a plane from Paris to Toulouse (which is even further than Bordeaux, though not too much), it's less expensive than going by train.

Just realized that the 4 Kings are doing FaOI, I forgot that Bijou is gonna be there too! The 2010 KOI dream team! The cast is quite amazing (and not even complete yet, if I recall correctly).

The Bompard would be so much easier to me... But nothing in life is easy isn't it ^^And Spain is definitely closer than Boston! Plus I kinda regretted not going to the GPF this year because I had already gone to TEB. The atmosphere seemed so crazy and exciting there!

Thank you for clarifying this. Human nature is a funny thing. Although I thought that Denis was a better person than to trash talk other skaters, I was still starting to harbour some unpleasant thoughts about him. Now I can go back to seeing him in a positive light.

Good to know Denis probably didn't say those words. But honestly, even if he did, I wouldn't blame him. Maybe because of the influence of johnny weir's book and VM's documentary, I wouldn't see the FS circle as a family or anything. Actually, hardly any circle can be called a family except for our real one.

Johnny said in interview that American federation didn't care about him at all and he even was late to bus in Torino, cause noone told him beforehand. And VM saying Zueva paid more attention to DW lately.

As for Shoma, I hope there will be many great american, canadian, russian boys and from other countries to make exciting competition.

And I hate saying it, but it could come down to only 2 chances of winning Worlds, since who knows if he'll compete there after the Olympics. But well, it's Yuzuru we're talking about here so if he wants 4 World Titles he'll go. Does anyone know if he's ever said anything about winning a certain number of Worlds? Because I've only seen him stating he wants to be a 2-time Olympic Champion.

I think he just wants to go out on top...I hope he never loses his National title, ever, as long as he is still competing.

As for Shoma, he is very very humble, as we all know. Saying in an interview that you don't think you'd ever beat him does not mean he won't try. So I won't worry about Shoma excelling in the years to come.

I think the first was a Loop but I can't be sure, although it wasn't a Lutz (99% sure) since he didn't use the toe pick. But it could have been because he was so small (and adorable as Woody) and still working on the technique (or didn't learn it yet, the Lutz is the second hardest jump, after all). But it's great to see how he was improved throughout the years, and he's been great to watch since he was young

It's normal to root for favourite skaters but absolutely no skater is unbeatable. I don't care if Hanyu loses a thousand titles in his career as long as he's healthy, well, and willing to compete.

I think Yuzu is unbeatable as long as he is healthy.
With title or without he will be my fav.skater this quadrennium.
But my point is Yuzu himself hates to loose. That's why I root for him and hope he won't loose.

I think the one in Notre Dame de Paris is 3F, maybe in the Worlds 2013.
