Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

I feel your way. Maybe it is because of the everse angle shot - notice both Yuzu and Nam's hair fringe are reversed?
Now this is the normal angle. Yuzu still looks quite matured and calm though.
Thank you. From this angle Yuzuru looks less weird to me. I guess Nam deleted the first post was because of that too. It was reversed and all of them looked weird.

Actually, the second pic is also reverse too... Just check their fringe. Don't know why Nam uploads reverse pic...

The first thing I notice was how Hanyu-san seems to have his elbow right on top of Cha's shoulder...

As for looking different, I think it's just one of his many expressions plus the angle of his face. Remember this?? Maybe he is very satisfied with how the first picture turned out with Oda-san and decided to do it again!

Didn't he say he was "traumatized" by that picture because he didn't want to take it or something like that? maybe he now looks weird to some because the PTSD is showing :p
(ETA: found it)

Sorry if this seems off topic but does cha jun hwan train at the cricket club now? I tried to find out who his coach was but I guess since he's still a novice it's pretty hard to find out info. It's weird that I didn't notice it was him until now, i really thought he was a cute girl beside Nam.

I've seen him in some other pictures Nam uploads to IG while he's in Toronto, so I guess he is.

I've read the thing that traumatized him was to pose with two hand peace sign, not the angle the photo taken. Before the photo with Oda-san was taken, Hanyu-san was being teased because he always did the peace sign, that's why he was asked to pose with two hands. Hanyu-san said it was too embarassing and he won't do it again. :laugh2:

I am not sure if I should talk about a blog article in our forum. (Please let me know if this is an inappropriate thing to do.)

I knew he is now extremely popular, but (faint)

This blog talks about how many times the key word “Hanyu Yuzuru” is searched on google in Japan. (Yuzu received the award for “the most searched name of the year” before.)

First, it shows the data on other celebrities such as a pop group star and an actress. They are searched roughly 500000 times/month.

Hanyu Yuzuru 4 million times in Feb. 2014

During the GPF, the nationals, and the worlds, which last only a couple of days per time, he is searched over 1250000 times each in the respective months!

Even during the off-season, when he hardly appears on TV, there are constantly 300000~700000 searches for him.

FaOI will be broadcast live on May 30th in Japan on the BS Asahi channel. It will be broadcast again on June 6th.
Yay!

:points: Will there be any way to watch it online?

And a random question, I was going through Yuzuru's exhibitions in each major competition he's been since he became a senior. And I couldn't find a program from him at 2013 Worlds. He didn't podium but he was still 4th and I've always seen 4th place finishers at the galas. Did he take part and was not recorded? Or was it because he was too injured?

Wasn´t he injured?

That boy really looks like a girl.

you may want to watch Jun's Dance macabre SP, you'll discover a male prodigy and Bravo to the choreographer whoever he is.. Jun has the same wild / lyrical freedom Yuzu had in Nanami's programs , a very rare gift...:cheer2:
