That guy, stay away from my baby.Who's he, Marina's son?
:...He is a notorious womanizer. But I guess he's not too low. Maybe he hugged her because she's too adorable.A bad history??? In this photo they look so sweethe is like the big brother and yulia seems to really enjoy this big hug.

I also love full metal alchemist. She looks genuinely happy on her trip. Good for her! Hope she picked up some English this week as well
I made a new video of Yulia with music from the great anime series Fullmetal Alchemist. Of course I would not ever expect this to materialize in real life, as anime is one of the things Yulia does not care for, but it was fun to dream up. This piece in particular (titled Bratja or Kyoudai in Japanese) is one of my favorite compositions ever and it suits her so well...

I meant personal and unique to Gordeeva. That whole performance, the idea and choreography is about her skating with Sergei. It's a life experience. It has nothing to do with anybody else. My point was that it's not odd that you were moved by that program/performance mor than with V&M Mahler.Same music but two different concept, completely.

Working with Massimo - it looks great!
Great, fantastic, prayer-answering brilliant. This is the promise of the Gordeeva-Mahler, passed to Yulia, before our very eyes! More photos, please, lenok.
Some choreographer prefers other Julia's compatriot over her. :sarcasm:
sjid, I want more and more photos too, but I can post only after Yulia`s posting.
It's great that Yulia this year is committed to greater openness and we are informed. Last year we waited until August...
I actually like the idea of Zueva beeing Julia's choreographer. It's true that some of Zueva's choreography doesn't seem to be inspired, but I guess that happens when she's not inspired by the pair/skater. We all know that she can make great choreos. And I guess she would be inspired by Julia.
Now, wait a minute. Are you saying that she wasn't inspired enough by V&M and D&W? She had the two best ID couples in the world.

http://tinyurl.com/ojsfbfu :yes:I want to comment on one of these photos before I shut my big mouth. The top row, right side shows us a brilliant quality of Yulia that we can't appreciate from a live performance. We could never see the detail of this picture as she moves. I think it's safe to wager there aren't 3 contributors to this forum who could force their bodies into that position, let alone remain standing, let alone on ice. It is remarkable as a feat of balance, and balance takes lots of strength which is a very good sign.
But even more amazing to me is the position of legs and arms, and body. First, notice both arms form a line. Then the left forearm is bent downward, in parallel to the to the lower right leg. The torso is also in that parallel set, the torso is parallel to both the lower left forearm and the lower right leg. And then the left leg is elevated so that it is parallel to the right arm and upper left arm. Thus she has used her body to construct two sets of parallels. And not just any parallels--the two sets of parallel lines (body parts) are at right angles. This can't possibly be accidental, this is a most subtle and powerful example of the genius that is Yulia Lipnitskaya. All done at 30 mph across sheer ice. Of course she gets zero credit in her scores for this incredible feat. And it's not an isolated example. There are dozens of these beautiful symmetries in every program. To see them, we have to create a set of stills taken at about 5 frames per second. If the software that I use for freeze-framing from videos comes up again for free, I will post it here for use by anyone who is fascinated by the hidden Yulia.
