Loved both costumes for this year :agree:

And I may be in the minority, but I also loved the Time Traveler costume. The shape would definitely not have worked in competition, but I thought it fit the exhibition routine.


I was rewatching the movie Pirates of the Carribean, and was thinking that I'd love to see Yuzu in a Pirate costume :biggrin: (there's some great music in those movies too!).

I loved Yuzu's costumes this year, but I definitely don't see him with a whole dark costume as Dai.
I hate this part of the off-season. Waiting the programs, waiting the GP assignements, too much wait :drama:

I like the Time Traveler costume 2.0 too but if I had a choice, I would choose the first one :)
 
There was no costume disaster from Yuzuru, only the 2010-2011 LP was in a majority not liked. For all others, lot of people do like them. Beside, let's not forget that Yuzuru doesn't care for fashion and stuff, so whether we like the costumes or not, there's no reason to care for him. But that's an endless talk about tastes... And I LOVE rhinestones, Yuzuru wears them perfectly.:biggrin:

What could bring a major change would be if there're problems like color(s) clashing with the ice (even if the costume is nice) and that ask for a change, or a terrible disaster like the cello costume wore by Julia Sauter at the beginning of the 2014 season. :shocked: So far, Yuzuru avoided it. Let's hope it continue.:laugh:

Or it might be this way, he has done the LP with Shae-Lynn, and he will perform it at DOI and will get the SP done when he comes back to Canada to get SP done by Jeff.
But I am expecting a SP by DW anyways. Not fond of the man definitely, but his SP aren't bad.

I really hope Yuzu's new SP will still be made by Jeff.
I remember SOI tour will end on 18 May, correct me if I am wrong.
So there is still some time left for new SP work by Jeff before they leave for Japan at end of May. In the meanwhile, Jeff will join FaOI tour in JP so he and Yuzu will have one month working together for their SP. After FaOI, I think Jeff will stay in Japan since he has the coming shows "The Ice" start on 22th July and he also has some choreograph work for Mura.

Hehe, and here I was just thinking of asking you whether you will be buying the "Pirouette" magazine with a nice picture of Yuzuru in his Time Traveler costume on the cover. :biggrin: Anyway, hope you have a great time while in Japan (am sure you will as you'll personally get to see Yuzuru skate again, lucky you:)).

Actually that's probably lying around somewhere at home right now, because the order didn't get to me before we left for Japan :laugh: unless someone else is faster than me, I'll check the inside of that magazine in a couple of weeks for you ;)

Hahaha I always love to see the warm atmosphere between the skaters. They always seem to have so much fun together. But well, who could resist Yuzu's cuteness.
