It would be really amazing to see both Patrick and Yuzuru live... do tell us all about it in a blog post! Idk if any of you have noticed (most probably have ahaha) but it seems like Yuzuru does better in even-numbered years (2012, 2014) compared to odd-numbered years (injuries etc.) so hopefully he'll do great this year!

I live in NY so unfortunately I'm use to high accommodation/travel costs 
... I looked at the hotels on the official site, but I found a few that are cheaper in the area. I'm looking at Hyatt Regency Cambridge which is around $200/night and by car is only 8 minutes away from the stadium. Public transportation like 30-40 minutes away...if I'm not feeling lazy I'll take the metro but otherwise I'll just call for cab/car service 
The ones that are within walking/short distance of the stadium are all booked or $300+/night. I'm still deciding whether I should get the all events pass or wait for the single tickets (hoping for better seats/maybe attend practices) But I can't make it for all the events though so it'd probably be a waste of money...does anyone know how much single tickets usually cost? Based on previous years?
@hamaguri, you're coming all the way from Japan right?
@won0066, ohh, which one did you get if you don't mind me asking? Did they already assign you the seats or do you get to chose?

I desperately would love to go.
Of course, it will cost a fortune for me. And I’ve never got plenty of time. I don't know at all.
But yuzu is the person who’s brought about something more than special. It’s sad I have only 3 years left.. In my lifetime, the period of yuzu being a competition skater (Of course, I will support him after 2018, but it will be different.) will be like golden years... Tons of memories are there.
I wanted to go to Shanghai WC, but I didn’t. While watching it on TV, I regretted not having gone there. I hate to repeat it again…
I pray for going to World 2015, 2016 and Olympics…
Anyway, God knows whether I can go!

I got one section off center ice, lower bowl, row 11. I got mine on first day of onsale...so was lucky. They called me with my seat confirmation and emailed it within first seven days when they got caught up with the initial craziness.
Back then you didnt get to choose exact seats, you gave them idea of what you want and they assigned it to you. Based on availability It looks like its still same concept if you go to the site still..
Note...since its worlds, many seats are reserved for sponsors, media, and dignitaries....so my guess is that i doubt there will be many single seats in lower bowl. I heard a rumor lower bowl is already sold out.

Boston/Cambridge is very small and compact with safe, efficient public transportation I lived there for 6 years without driving (or taking a taxi). Actually think that subway is faster than taxi.
Other housing options are Vacation Rentals by Owner (VRBO). I use them a lot on vacations instead of staying in hotels.
I'm thinking of going but haven't bought tickets yet. Will stay with a friend outside of town.

I've been to 4 U.S. Nationals, 2 SA 's , 2 SC 's and LA Worlds and have been able to move to an empty seat that is better than mine many times, especially for the SP's. I think the only time in LA I couldn't find anything better was the Ladies final.

Kinda off topic but I was thinking, to my knowledge, only 3 men have ever beat Yuzu in the FP who had 3 quads, Javi, Maxim, and Kevin. This counts from 2010-2015, but of course not many men are doing 3 quads from then and even now. It would be interesting if that remains when he now has 3 quads.

I think three of them, at least yuzu and Javi will go on with 3 quads within this season.
Rules may change again in such a direction as to prompt quad. To lower the level of layout is easy, but to heighten it is difficult. Especially when you don’t have enough time before Olympics.

I'm in the same boat. I plan to go to Worlds in Boston but I can't find anyone to go with me at this point since I want to see all the events (I'll probably never get a similar chance). I might be able to convince my sister to come with me to Boston at least since her spring break falls on the same days, but I'm getting anxious to purchase an all event ticket to catch dance and pairs, I think I want to try and get better seats for the men's event, and maybe ladies. Either way at this point it's looking like a solo trip.
Can anyone who went to Worlds in LA comment on the pricing for individual event tickets? I want to watch dance and pairs too but wondering how much I could potentially save by purchasing a crummy balcony level all event ticket vs purchasing each event individually.
Also, is this the official site for this year's Skate Canada: http://www.skatecanada.ca/event/2015-skate-canada-international/? I found the site to purchase tickets but I don't see any details such as hotels or a schedule, am I looking in the wrong place?

I wonder if yuzu and his team had enough confidence in beating Patrick.. They chose SC on their own although they knew Patrick would come to SC.. Even if they miss SC, they should have another chance to fight against Patrick before WC, for example, GPF, 4CC (if any)..

I think it may be better for Yuzu to compete with Patrick early in the season? I do not think Patrick will go to 4CC since he doesn't like to take a long fly.
Sometimes I feel Yuzu like to compete with strong competitor. It will bring more challenges for Yuzu.

I do not understand the fed. The venue of NHK Trophy this year is really small.
The tickets are easy to sold out even Yuzu is not in.
I prefer Yuzu not to take NHK since it's really close to GPF.
Wondering what factors might be the consideration of the fed..:think:
