Yay! Wait where is SA next year? If it's a state close enough to Alberta I'll try to convince my parents that we should take a vacation there.
I was planning to go to TEB no matter what the assignments... but I'm very pleased that Julia will be one of the competitors!
It'll be in Milwaukee.
Anyone remember the funny video that allegedly Yulia edited and sent to a journalist in which she is pretending that she cusses all over the place? I think the journalist called her rude and accused her of being a cuss monster or something.

I still don't know for certain what the deal was but it just makes me laugh so hard![]()

The way things should always be.

I can only imagine the thoughts going thru her head. Inspite of the fear and uncertainty of it all she managers to look so calm and at peace. It's very inspiring for me.
The main reason for poor FS was stupid idea put StSq in early FS. I don't understand why she has not changed the program.Courageous without a doubt. But it's possible she wasn't thinking of anything. In a recent interview she said that she goes into auto-pilot when in competition. She said that performances suffer when she has to think.
This automatic mode could be a partial explanation for her puzzling inconsistencies last year.

Lol, just ask skaters. That's not true. StSq don't cause those problems just because you have them in the first half, quite the opposite actually. She made mistakes even in the StSq despite being early. Besides, most probably they didn't change that element because she knew she couldn't handle it in the second half and would've caused her more troubles.

Apparently, Julia just shy of that everyone in Tutberidze group had StSq in early.
Lol, just ask skaters.
You'll see it in next season.

Most likely instead of five jumping cells x1.1 will be three or four. :think:Will that structure change with Marina?

Yulia + any good music = masterpiece. To be honest I'm a little bit scared of how Marina's programs are gonna fit Julia's style.
I got very ambivalent attitude towards Ilya Averbukh.
Many of his quotes regarding Julia irritates me, I don't like his "business first" attitude, but I have to admit that his three programs for Julia were true masterpieces. They suited her, they suited us and what's also very important - they scored well.

Will they be something completely different from Julia's characteristic, as Ilya said, "ethereal skating"?
And if so - are we, fans, ready for non-ethereal Julia?![]()

As long as Yulia gets back her consistency she will be fine whoever the choreographer is. Some skaters have meh programs but they still get medals because they're consistent.I got very ambivalent attitude towards Ilya Averbukh.
