Skaters on Team Japan

My Russian friend (from Russian source) said JSF is asking for Yuko Kawaguchi's help. And she is preparing some report/research in pair for JSF.
She might becom a great pair coach for JSF once she retires. She has learned from the best you know. And she has major in coaching. Hopefully she will help them well in pairs.

That sounds amazing tbh :hb:

Official pictures of the new teams for Pair and Ice Dance! Wishing them all the best :cheer:

Oh!!! So good to know that Kihara and C. Reed had found new partners. Best wishes for them :drama::cheer:

Any details about the new girls? Both look lovely...

Edit
New pair and ice dance couples were announced.

I'm happy Chris found a new partner! Kana her previous partner (Noguchi) did great during Nats and hopefully they wouldn't need too much time to adjust to each other.

Also happy that Ryu found a new pairs partner. ^^

However I'm still worried for Koga/Boudreau-Audet - aren't they supposed to be competing on seniors level now? I was wondering why they didn't get NHK Trophy on GP, since host gets to pick one of their own. Or are their scores just not GP-level yet? I'm not familiar with Pairs/Ice Dance selection when it comes to GP assignments so if someone knows, please enlighten me. ~_~ I haven't seen any news on them in Japanese websites either.

They split and fount new partners. The new teams are: Sumire Suto/Francis Boudreau-Audet and Ami Koga/Spencer Howe (K/H will skate in the Junior Pairs SP event at the Quebec Summer Championships, August 6-9.).

I knew it. :( But if it means Japan's getting more pairs teams then this miiiiight be a good thing? (on the fence here, because I know it might get some getting used to to skate with another person, plus citizenship issues.) Would you be so kind as to link me to a source? Thank you in advance. ^^

List of participants for Quebec Summer Championships: http://www.patinage.qc.ca/uploads/Competition 2015-2016/CQE/Liste_Part_CQE2015_juin19_13h50.pdf
Francis and Sumire are registered for Senior Couple Prog. Court (Serior Pairs SP), Koga Ami and Howe Spencer Akira are listed for Junior Couple Prog. Court (Junior Pairs SP). As Spencer's second name is Akira, perhaps he has a Japanese parent?
I'd assume the age difference was the reason for the split -Ami and Spencer have still 3 years of junior eligibility left (while Francis moved on to seniors).
