Hey all!

We are updating our database with new info from that past season. Do any "firsts" stick out in your mind?

Javi's World Championship win is a Definite FIRST for Spain! :cheer:
Yuzu's Back-to-Back GPF wins is a First for Japan.

I think Boyang Jin's 3 Quad Long program was probably a first for the Junior Worlds. (never been done before)

I believe P/C's win is the first time an ice dance team out of the top ten (13th at that) went on to win the World title the very next season.

In fact, other than Lipinski going from 15th to 1st, I can't recall any instance where a skater was out of the top 12 one year, and jumped to 1st the very next year.

I think Denis Ten's 4CC win is the first ISU Championship win ever for Kazakhstan (should have been 2013 Worlds but oh well)

Hate to start with the obvious, but Liza had a lot of historical moments in 2014-2015 and wanted to check if you had noted those yet.

I believe her SP at Worlds was the first ever by a lady to contain all triple jumps.

Mao Asada may have done this, but I haven't verified yet.

Liza's Worlds SP was the first four-triple SP ever (3A, 3T-3T, and one solo triple, which I think was a 3Lz).

Maybe I missed something but I think Hanyu COC SP 3A was first perfect 3GOE on that jump ever ? I am not sure, but if I remember someone posted something like that at this event on forum

Not a first, but pretty amazing -the placement of Misha Ge at Worlds from 27th in 2014 to 6th in 2015.

He is the first male singers skater representing Uzbekistan to place in the top 10 at Worlds, unfortunately there's no skaters who can take the 2nd spot at Worlds next year, he said there's only novice skaters in Uzbekistan right now haha

Yuzu - first time an Olympic champion compete in the following season instead of taking a season off or retire.

Yuzu - first time a skater completed a treble in the same year --> Olympic gold (Feb2014), Worlds gold (Mar2014), GPF gold (Dec2014).

I think Yagudin did this first in the 2001-2002 season. He won six out of seven competitions that season.

I don't know if it's a first but also very impressive.
The all clean SPs of the ladies in the JGPF.
(I'm not counting E calls)
I think they all did triple-triple combos too!
