So we are completely agree about the point program and music = The choice of the music is not excellent and the choreography is not very interesting .. But it's looks like she puts all the success of her LP on her jumps....but having good jumps is not enough to keep a world and a european crown... if the artistic performance, and the story are not present the program doesn't have any sense... after, I know that, she has time to improve her program, we are still at the beginning of the summer and during a competition the energy can transform a lot of things but in my book this program today is not very exciting ... And we all know that the season is going to be very complicated, with the come back of Lipnitskaya, Sotnikova... the arrival of Medvedeva in senior level, the self confidence of Radionova and the determination of Pogorilaya... Anyway, the competition is going to be very hard, and harder than this year... So skaters have to be very present artistically as well as technically ...

Actually it is... after 2010 they made changes that I think were to help Mao compete easier with Yuna... and now if you have a 3A you can lower your tech content elsewhere and just barely check every other box and be assured you're likely to win.

That being said, I'm sure they'll get the program to work and I don't get much of the criticism laid out on this rough draft... I really don't have much doubt that Liza will win most of the time and Yulia shouldn't worry too much about it.

Yulia is my favorite skater regardless of what anyone is doing or where she places against them. Medals or not....she is the best reason to watch this sport. She just oozes with creativity and originality.

The reason of 2010 looks like an evidence:think: .... I don't manage with that point, we will see in the future season but I hope for the beauty of figure skating that technic is not going to take the whole importance, the most perfect programs are those with huge component score and important message to transmit ... Carolina Kostner and Yuna Kim was the better "ambassadrice" of performances with an enormous part of emotion ( and yulia as well of course with SL for instance), and that feeling puts the figure skating in another dimension ... I hope that new rules are not going to erase that emotion. This is one of the reason why I am really excited by the new program of Yulia, I really want to see them, the explications of Marina Zueva about the programs make me think that there are beautiful and very representative of Yulia... The wait during the summer is always so long :slink:

Then I think that yulia have all the abilities to overpassed Elizaveta even with a 3A, as you said she just has to focus and her performance without to much worries... Come on Yulia you can do it :dance:

Yep, That's why I still watch all the programs of Yulia, even if I already watched them maybe a hundred times !! :laugh:

I miss Yulia...and I was just thinking today very randomly that she could do a great Harry Potter program. The music from the first three films is just magical (no pun intended) and would suite her so well!

ohh sorry I assume to be the worst girl :p I just can't stop looking Yulia's performance and it's awful, this syndrome in incurable I think : summer Lipni-withdrawal, perfect adjective to describe my feeling too !! How do you do to make the time passed more quickly ?
And, thaaank you for the warning about Sam's videos. At least, you can not say that you will not have warned me :p

So Julia used the same Don Quixote music for both 2008/09 and 2009/10 long program, but what about 2008/09 short program? The music in the video moviebuff posted is definitely not a 2009/10 SP Kung-fu Panda so what is it? :unsure:
Official vk page and wiki have no records before 09-10 season.
