Yulia Lipnitskaya

First post on a new page is where it's at. I hate the last post on a page! I always feel like no one reads those. I'm so vain :hopelessness:

Yeah I'm getting all "black helicopters" and "chemtrails" about everything these days.

Yeah, you can't win either way. Sometimes I forgo the need to quote because I think having the reply directly underneath the message I am referencing gives enough context, though once it ends up on a new page, it's like I'm talking to myself.

Do you comment frequently in other areas of the community? Strange to be called by name when you're not part of the discussion.

It is just a sort of light trolling I guess. He obviously reads the forum. Sometimes it even makes me a bit sad that we know your language while most of you guys don't know ours. Actually, any additional language is a huge advantage. I mean, it's like your world is wide open to me, while you are mostly in the dark :(

Really? That's quite an assumption to make.

I agree with you. It took so much for me to get a basic grasp of French just for my classes. If it was for more than a recreational purpose I would certainly put more effort into learning Russian. Although I'm one generation removed from my German heritage and have lots and lots of German family members so it would make more sense to learn that I would think.

I am obviously generalizing :) Of course, some people here know Russian or are Russians themselves. I'm sorry if I have offended you in any way.

I don't really get offended. I just enjoy butting heads for entertainment's sake. ;)

I've never seen game of thrones so I'm of no help but a picture appeared on her fan page today:

Granted it could mean nothing at all but I just thought it to be quite random if it wasn't a sign. Then again an Alice and Wonderland one appeared some time back too.

OMG I'll die if she skate to GoT. :drama::love: She's Arya Stark for me and together with bellflower we are yearning for her to skate to that music and close the program with: Valar Morghulis.

I doubt though because I just can't picture Marina doing a program like that. :rolleye:

Definitely looks like a sign.
Is there any special soundtrack theme connected with Arya?

Valar Morghulis theme from season 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4l4bgX3qY9g

These are other themes related with her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A31c3JgXiFw
Not that the program should be strictly with Arya's theme. The Rains of Castamere is beautiful and can be used although its not about Arya, or Dany's themes.

Most of the music from GoT's OST are quite bleak and monotonous, with perhaps the exception of 'Mhysa' (which I can not stand), and the 'GoT theme' is too short to be used by itself for a program. Perhaps a more suitable piece would be a mashup medley...like this GoT/Dark Knight violin medley by Jason Yang, which mixes 'The Rains Of Castamere' with 'The Dark Knight' (soundtrack) and then ending with the 'GoT Theme'. It might be good for a LP, a couple of variaions atnd changes in tempo throughout (e.g. Dark Knight bit would be great for a fast and powerful step sequence). Again.....wishful thinking here.

There are many good pieces in GoT and the right duration for a SP. You also can make a mix with different themes or a LP. The main theme is also made in many versions, I like the hard rock a lot.
I love "Dance of Dragons" from Season 5 a lot. I was going to use it for a fan video actually.

Don't forget that in Soviet times not so far ago, Russian was taught compulsorily in all countries of the Warsaw Pact (~115 million people without USSR).

It's very likely you're being watched, comrade geiger.;)

How are your fan videos doing these days btw.?
Anything new? ;)

I haven't had time yet. Tuesday I started my holidays and I was travelling down to Rome. Today all day long out meeting with some friends. Tomorrow again lunch and dinner with friends. Almost finished though. ;)

That's "goofy" in the good sense, right? As in whimsical?

Actually, that picture is quite lovely and well composed. I like it!

Definitely the good way. That's one of the things I like about following her. She has tons of talented fans that bring a good sense of humor but also kindness and passion. From funny gifs to amazing shark photos I always get a chuckle. The good kind of course ;)
