2015 Glacier Falls Summer Classic, July 30-Aug. 2, Anaheim, CA

I just watched Polina and Gracie back to back, twice. I love Gracie but I have to give the SP to Polina. They're both great but I think scores are spot on and I'm more than excited for the Free Program. Bring it on!!

I think you hit the nail on the head with this one. He was like a puppy learning his new feet, but like a puppy grows into his feet, so too I think Jason will grow into the program. But yeah, he looked like he was still learning it/thinking about the program a lot. He also looks a bit tire near the end end. Also they need to find damn good tailor if they are going with that costume. it was half untucked on one side by the end. really it should not even be a full shirt under the vest IMHO, no need for extra cloth.

I do think the program itself is very promising and fun but he needs to nail it (though I am sure he knows that already). I look forward to seeing version 2 soon, because right now it is still under construction. Still happy see the preview.

Karen used an unusual step sequence pattern, Also her loop and 2a jump are timed to the music phrase, but she didnot get it right this time(possibly some spin ideas as well). it could be impactful just like her spiral.

I saw that. I am wondering if something weird happened Rohene's choreography got a little spinny and something that was not intended to check a box did. That would mean the non-spin got the level 1, checked the box and ran out at the end. It is strange whatever happened. Glad to have done it here rather than later!
 
I have a gut feeling that Gracie's program will look much better, if it is from judges side and better music sound recording (not like this fancam).Many details and nuances in this program to appreciate. I like how she flares her long skirt(like Patrick plays with her tuxedo).also how she holds and controls and varies her speed to reflex the music. And many many other great stuff:love::o:
 
Oh, I am a bit worried about Jason, he looked out of shape. I don't know if it was just the costume...but it looked as if he got a bit heavier, which is normal growing for a man, but not so good for a skater. Maybe it was just a bulky costume...I hope he gets back to where he was, with or without a quad. This time he was slow, and even the spins were not as good as they were.
 
Mariah's Dress!!! :love: The program started out so well. Get those jumps girl and you'll have it all.

I really think it might have just been the costume. It's very bulky and ill-fitting up top.

I did think a few of the beginning spins looked rather slow and un-Jason like, but no credit for the final spin? I'm glad I've never tried to figure out judging and have other fans to tell me what's what:laugh2:

But did anyone else get dizzy watching this? No wonder the poor guy is tired, this is four minutes of every move in the book, and some that aren't in the book. Hope it comes together!

And I'm sure the costume will be streamlined, much like the "too original" ruffled Prince outfit. Now if we can just keep the sequin gun out of Rohene's hands;)
 
i enjoyed Gracie's and i think has potential to be really good, very detailed inbetweens, but it really annoys me that she is so close to the barriers everytime, not to mention she always looks back to see where she is at, whats the point if you are gonna kiss barriers everytime, and its distracting :confused:
karen had really weird fall and i agree that music overpowers her but that spiral is just :love: !!!!! and she doesnt look back which is really important :biggrin: i also love her layout, 3LzT,StSq,Spin,3Lo,Spin,2A and Spin
i also enjoyed Courtney's SP, i think that kind of music suits her, her SP from nationals last year is one of the standout moments for me, and reaction from audience after her hugeeee 3F :laugh:
and i love Nathan's SP!!
still no news about Richard's SP :cry:
 
I am also impressed by Courtney's, showed great effort in choreo, but perhaps the steps is little too demanding for her skills at the moment.

Well...just under 3 minutes (2.50) for this program. ;) Also he must have lost points because he had no jump combo. Maybe that was the << on the last jump. I wonder if he all do a senior B? On one hand, seems like he will need the practice before Skate America. On the other...I wonder how much progress he can make on this program in 6 weeks?
