I was doing Yuzu's planned content next season and I think I will finally break 200 in the free skate. I did a "practice program" and with his average components and average GOE, I have him getting around 202 points. My prediction is he will do it at GPF. I used to be worried about 4S but now I'm worried about the 4T.
Thank you for your bright prediction!
And you mean that crazy entry of 4T, or 4T in the latter half in both SP and FP (In FP, 4t-2t)!

Did I miss something?

Here!
The photo is of a TV guide. Yuzuru will be a guest on NHK's morning variety show called Asaichi on August 28th.
So I guess he'll be back for the charity show and stay for at least a week unless it's recorded beforehand (I think it's usually live though).

...both. But Yuzu works very hard so I know he will have them consistent by the time the big competitions come.

Thanks!!! What kind of talk show is it?

I myself haven’t watched the TV channel recently, so I don't remember it well though, it is carried out by one lady announcer and one regular caster(he is a J-POP star). The biggest part is, in this talk, viewers can send fax and email to the broadcast during the program. The fax includes some messages(sometimes hand-written pictures!), questions towards the guest. They pick up some of them in the talk. Of course, about yuzu, tons of fax messages must come. It’s sure everyone is making detailed one so that it can be taken in the talk(lol).

I really hope so. His intensive work is certain. It must be rewarded:).

Last season he landed 2/6 4S (GPF, WTT) and 5/12 4T (2 GPF, 2 JN, 1 WTT) so they have basically the same consistently this season... I guess it seems so dramatic about his 4T since he usually always lands it.

I wonder if anyone else is is doing second half 4T in a SP? I never seen anyone do it. But to me it sounds much better than doing 2 quads :drama:

Maxim is doing 2 quad though, they are in first half?

Yuzu can get almost the same points in first half 3A as in first half 4T (aroud GOE0-1). 4T and combo in latter half are good strategy, I suppose(Of course, it’s risky…):drama:

Yeah, it must be fun! Yuzu will be chilled out! (And you needn't put "san" after hamaguri. hamaguri is just a name of a shell.[emoji23])
Hahas!!! Alright!!! I wonder if he'll receive something like 'what kind of girl do you like' etc? It is quite common fans ask about this here?

Of course, in such type of talks, it is a usual question towards athletes or stars – popular, good-looking, and unmarried. It's likely to happen:). (At the same time, given the other day’s crazy fuss about his “retirement” statement, it’s fully considered yuzu would be careful about the answer. Media is always waiting for something dramatic. Now all of his statements are totally under the microscope.:disapp:)

It's not perfect strategy, but I guess it's preparation for two quads SP in future. Usually if he lands well his 4T he can gets almost 3 GOE on it. If he can't land in 2nd half as good quad as in 1st half he will loose points on GOE.

Yes, so in fact quad in the second half is much more risky, and even the entry before the quad is not easy :hopelessness: But anyways if the GOE is not high as usual, he will get 10% when he lands it. So the point is he should land it first.

This explained the many Japanese tweets with the word FAX in them that I've seen these past days...even Pooh and Vegatta are busy at it .

I saw one tweet going to ask whether there's going to be new costume for SP . Today someone tweet a costume fantasy, Ooh! la! la!

And I came across this again...still can't get over his laughter

I'm worried too due to the high level difficulty of the program. But like you guys said it is strategy for the future, need to put it out there in competition similar to the 4S in 2013-2014. The question I have is that there are difficult transition and entry prior to the jump...are the marks for these only in the jump GOE or will also be reflected in the transition and PCS?

Pooh writes “Tell us about your height!”
It’s really our question!

Anyone want to translate what http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x31h5as_150813-やわらかな響きの名前_sport he said?

All I understood was he was talking about an athlete and "hanyu" at the end?
The interviewee has some interest about each sound which each name has, a Soft sound, a hard sound or so. He was asked about a name with “a soft sound” and right away mentioned, “Hanyu!”. The interviewer agreed with it. “The name, Hanyu surely has a soft sound.”

Remember after the collision at CoC he feared of getting into collision; and during practice at NHK we saw he ducked out of the way (I cannot find the video for this now) and another time he hugged the board.

What I did not realize was at Worlds practice session, the venue of the collision, he ran out of the way when he saw Veronov coming towards him (photos & clip in this blog). Even though he laughed at himself in the end, but you can see the fear in his eyes before that..I think it just triggered his memory as Voronov's position was just like his position at the moment of impact. I hope by now the trauma has subsided.

Brilliant!!! that is a million dollar question

Well, theoretically it should be. But he already gets very good marks on transitions and skating skills so I don't know how much higher they could go (PCS are too confusing to me). He's slowly but steadily getting to the top of the PCS  I really just want him to land it, I'm going to be a nervous wreck until after the quads are done on both programs.
